The need for a liquid hand-dishwashing composition which provides further improved sudsing volume and longevity when washing dishware, especially at elevated temperatures, using diluted liquid hand dishwashing compositions, and especially in the presence of greasy soil and particulate soil, while avoiding unsightly residues on dishware, is met by combining a sudsing surfactant system with an EO-PO-EO triblock copolymer and an ethoxylated polyethyleneimine which does not comprise any further alkoxylations.

The present invention relates to a surfactant booster for use in high foaming cleaning compositions. In an aspect of the invention, a C6, C7, C8, C9, C10, C11 or C12 linear alcohol in very low amounts is added to increase surface activity, foam and wetting properties of the composition. The alcohol is added in an amount of alcohol to surfactant of about 1:100 to 1:200 and must be linear. In another aspect, the invention relates to novel cleaning compositions such as pot and pan soaking compositions, dishwashing compositions, food and beverage foaming cleaners, vehicle cleaning and the like suitable for use in hard water, which can be solid or liquid. The invention further relates to methods of making these compositions, and to methods employing these compositions.

Present invention relates to a detergent composition and a method for preparing the composition. The composition may be a compressed tablet, a coated tablet, in form of small granules or pearls packed in a dose unit. The composition may also be formulated so as to be an effervescent composition. The detergent composition may conveniently be used in the food industry for cleaning of appliances in food processing and preparation or in the metal industry for cleaning of appliances with respect to soot or oil residues.

A vehicle-cleaning system and method of cleaning a vehicle are provided, the system comprises a cleaning agent dispenser configured to administer a cleaning agent to a surface of a vehicle for cleaning, wherein the cleaning agent preferably comprises one or more nanoparticulate metal oxide. In one embodiment, the system comprises a chemical agent dispenser configured to separately administer a chemical agent to the surface of a vehicle to react with said cleaning agent to form a resultant foam. The system further comprises an electromagnetic wave emitting system for providing wavelength in a range of about 200 nm to about 380 nm to activate the nanoparticulate metal oxide.

A high foaming liquid alkaline cleaner comprises one or more alkalinity sources; one or more surfactants comprising a hydrotrope, one or more wetting and soil emulsifying surfactants, one or more foam volume generating surfactants, and one or more foam boosting surfactants and one or more sequestrants. Optionally, an organic solvent can be utilized. The high foaming liquid alkaline cleaning composition is generally prepared in a concentrated form and can be diluted as with water. The alkaline cleaner provides effective cleaning properties, with respect to fats, oils, and organic soils.

The present invention is in the field of cleaning compositions. In particular it relates to liquid, gelled or pasty cleaning compositions comprising one or more detergent surfactants. The invention provides cleaning compositions comprising water, one or more detergent surfactants and defibrillated primary cell wall material comprising microfibrils. The invention also relates to a method for preparing a cleaning composition comprising water, one or more detergent surfactants and defibrillated primary cell wall material comprising microfibrils, wherein the method includes a high shear treatment step.

A high foaming liquid alkaline cleaner comprises one or more alkalinity sources; one or more surfactants comprising a hydrotrope, one or more wetting and soil emulsifying surfactants, one or more foam volume generating surfactants, and one or more foam boosting surfactants and one or more sequestrants. One aspect of the invention is a new foam which includes a liquid having a plurality of bubbles therein and a plurality of particles suspended therein. The foam is made in a dispenser that suspends the bubbles in the liquid. The liquid may be a single liquid with particles therein or may be made from two liquids which are mixed together. The particles may be such that, prior to foaming the particles sink, float or are suspended in the liquid.

A powder laundry detergent formulation is provided having a detergent surfactant; a builder; a polyethylene oxide having a weight average molecular weight, Mw, of 750,000 Daltons to 10,000,000; and a poly(acrylic acid) having a weight average molecular weight, Mw, of 1,000 to 20,000.

A cleaning composition having good foamability and being capable of producing fine and stable foams with resilient texture, more specifically, a cleaning composition including a surfactant, methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, and a solvent.
