CLEANING COMPOSITION
20170321170 · 2017-11-09 ·

A cleaning composition comprising a particle said particle comprising: (a) from 30 to 70% by weight thereof of a polymer having a softening point in the range from about 20° C. to about 60° C.; (b) from 20 to 60% by weight thereof of a first material having a BET surface area greater than 100 m2/g and a D50 from about 5 to about 20 μm; (c) from 3 wt % to 15% by weight thereof of a second material having a BET surface area from about 0.01 to about 5 m2/g and a D50 from about 30 to about 100 μm.

CLEANING COMPOSITIONS

A cleaning composition, preferably a granular laundry detergent composition, contains 1.5 wt % to 10 wt % of soap particles characterized by a particle size distribution with from 35 wt % to 100 wt % of soap particles having particle sizes ranging from about 125 microns to about 355 microns. Soap particles with such a particle size distribution are surprisingly more effective in boosting suds volume of the cleaning composition during a fabric washing cycle.

Gentle cleanser compositions

The present disclosure relates to gentle cleanser compositions, which generally include: (a) a taurate surfactant; (b) salicylic acid; (c) kaolin; d) a betaine (and/or another amphoteric surfactant) and e) an emollient. The cleanser compositions exhibit very good cleansing properties, are particularly effective for removing makeup, and are mild and moisturizing to the skin, with a good deposition of salicylic acid.

Asphalt surface cleaning composition with bitumen rehardening and method

A composition for removing spillage on asphalt paving of hydrocarbon substances which includes modifiers, chemical oxidizers and bacteria which metabolizes both the spillage and a softened top layer of asphalt paving to aid in rehardening the surface of the mat while not metabolizing the underlying asphalt paving unaffected by the spillage.

COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATMENT AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THE SAME
20210395653 · 2021-12-23 ·

A detergent composition, a method of making the detergent composition, and a method of use thereof are provided. The detergent composition comprises at least 0.001% by weight of an antimicrobial agent, based on the total weight of the composition; an enzyme; and at least 0.01% by weight of a hydrotrope, based on the total weight of the composition.

Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate containing detergent compositions

A detergent composition and a method of washing/cleaning urushiol at least partially, more typically substantially or completely off a surface of human skin or clothing. The detergent composition is typically a non-buffered composition that contains one or more C12 surfactants, typically at least a sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and the detergent composition is typically free of one or more of (1) any nonylphenol ethoxylate; (2) any pharmaceutically active drug or prodrug; (3) any salt in an amount that affects the functional characteristics of either of the solely C12 surfactants; (4) any salt in granular form; and/or (5) any ethoxylate that is a stand-alone ingredient.

ENDOSCOPE CLEANING WITH VISCOELASTIC LIQUID

The invention relates to compositions and methods for reducing biocontaminant (for example flesh, blood, mucous, faeces or biofilm) on a surface, such as an endoscope surface. The compositions are viscoelastic and of low lubricity, having the following properties at 21° C.: a rotational yield point between 140% strain and 300% strain; a peak viscosity between 550 Pa.Math.s and 2000 Pa.Math.s; an oscillatory flow point between 250 and 700% strain; and a coefficient of friction μ which has a maximum value (preferably 0.06 or greater) in the viscoelastic liquid's elastohydrodynamic region.

DISPERSION AND METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR PREPARING THE SAME
20210368785 · 2021-12-02 ·

A dispersion includes a zinc oxide component, and an aromatic polyol which is represented by Formula (I) and which has terminal hydroxyl groups that form chelating bonds with zinc atoms of the zinc oxide component,

##STR00001##

wherein p and q are independently integers ranging from 1 to 40. A method for preparing the dispersion includes heating a composition including the aromatic polyol and a zinc-containing salt, so that the zinc-containing salt undergoes nucleophilic reaction and condensation reaction to form the zinc oxide component. A composition for preparing the dispersion is also disclosed.

Cleaning compositions and methods of use

A composition comprises from 0.1 to 30 wt-% of one or more amino acids, 0.1 to 30 wt-% of one or more surfactants, and optionally one or more hydrotropes. The amino acids may be selected from arginine (“ARG”), lysine (“LYS”), histidine (“HIS”), glycine (“GLY”), or combinations thereof. The composition can be formulated as a cleaning composition, such as a hard surface cleaner, a floor cleaner, or a degreaser. The composition can be used in a method for treating a surface, where the composition is applied to the surface and allowed to remain on the surface for a length of time, and the surface is then wiped.
