Bio-lubricant with high viscosity and method
A bio-lubricant composition includes a first component that includes a first triglyceride, which is part of a cooking oil; a second component that includes a first epoxidized triglyceride; a third component that includes a hydroxylated triglyceride; a fourth component that includes a first fatty acid ester moiety; a fifth component that includes a first epoxidized fatty acid ester; and a sixth component that includes a hydroxylated fatty acid ester. A mixture of the first to sixth components at room temperature have a viscosity between 40 and 200 centipoise, and the composition is substantially free of free fatty acids.
Methods, materials and apparatus for cleaning and inspecting girth gear sets
A one-step method of cleaning a girth gear set of a mill in preparation for inspection is provided, the method comprising: substantially emptying the mill; inching the gear; spraying a low, very low or non-Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) cleaning formulation at high pressure onto the gear, the cleaning formulation comprising a non-VOC aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, an extreme pressure lubricant, a fretting wear lubricant, a non-ionic surfactant, and a mixture of non-VOC unsaturated fatty alcohols; and continuing to spray the low or very low VOC cleaning formulation on the gear for sufficient time for the formulation to clean the gear, thereby providing a so cleaned gear.
Natural oil based cleaners
A composition suitable for cleaning hard surfaces comprising a natural oil solvent and a natural oil thickener is provided.
IMPROVEMENTS IN INK AND STAIN REMOVAL
A water-based stain removal formulation, comprising: a lye solution comprising an inorganic hydroxide base; an oil mixture comprising one or more surfactants, an orange extract and an organic base; and an acid mixture comprising acetic acid and a thickener. Methods of manufacture of a water-based stain removal formulation, use of a water-based stain removal formulation, and an applicator for a water-based stain removal formulation are also described.
LEUCO TRIPHENYLMETHANE COLORANTS AS BLUING AGENTS IN LAUNDRY CARE COMPOSITIONS
A laundry care composition including: (a) at least one laundry care ingredient and (b) a least one compound represented by Formula (I):
##STR00001##
The ratio of Formula I to its oxidized form is at least 1:3 and each individual R.sub.o, R.sub.m and R.sub.p group on each of rings A, B and C is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium and R.sup.5. At least one of the R.sub.o and R.sub.m groups on at least one of the three rings A, B or C is hydrogen and each R.sub.p is independently selected from hydrogen, —OR.sup.1 and —NR.sup.1R.sup.2, G is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium, and mixtures thereof. Methods of treating textiles with such detergent compositions.
METHOD TO REMOVE EXPLOSIVE AND TOXIC GASES AND CLEAN METAL SURFACES IN HYDROCARBON EQUIPMENT
The present invention relates to a method of rapidly decontaminating and making safe for entry, hydrocarbon contaminated equipment by sequencing a cleaning mist or foam, an encapsulating mist or foam and a dry carrier gas.
