SOLID FAST DRAINING/DRYING RINSE AID FOR HIGH TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLID WATER CONDITIONS
The present invention is a solid rinse aid composition and methods of making and using the same. Applicants have surprisingly found that the crystal modifier sodium xylene sulfonate (short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates) at higher percentage can act as a solidification agent. The solid rinse aid composition generally includes a short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates solidification agent and an effective amount of a surfactant which can include a sheeting agent component, defoamer component and/or association disruption agent. The solid rinse aid composition may be phosphate-free, aminocarboxylate-free, and GRAS if desired.
CLEANING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
A composition comprises from 0.1 to 30 wt-% of one or more amino acids, 0.1 to 30 wt-% of one or more surfactants, and optionally one or more hydrotropes. The amino acids may be selected from arginine (“ARG”), lysine (“LYS”), histidine (“HIS”), glycine (“GLY”), or combinations thereof. The composition can be formulated as a cleaning composition, such as a hard surface cleaner, a floor cleaner, or a degreaser. The composition can be used in a method for treating a surface, where the composition is applied to the surface and allowed to remain on the surface for a length of time, and the surface is then wiped.
Photoactivators
Photoactivators comprise a photoactive moiety and a hydrophilic moiety. The photoactivators preferably comprise less than about 35%, by weight of the photoactivator, of the photoactive moiety. The photoactivators can be activated to a photo-excited state by excitation with incident radiation of a wavelength between about 350 nm and 750 nm, preferably between about 350 nm and about 420 nm. The photoactivators further encompass those having certain chemical formulations.

The present invention relates to treatment compositions containing polymer systems that provide stability and benefit agent deposition as well as methods of making and using same. Such treatment compositions may be used for example as through the wash and/or through the rinse fabric enhancers as well as unit dose treatment compositions.
High performance low viscoelasticity foaming detergent compositions employing extended chain anionic surfactants
The invention meets the needs above by providing a surfactant system, mixture or blend that can be used as a part of a soaking composition. The surfactant system is capable of forming emulsions with, and thus removing, oily and greasy stains. In a preferred embodiment the surfactant compositions of the invention can remove non-trans fat and fatty acid stains. The invention involves foaming soaking compositions that have some or part of the anionic surfactant present in the same replaced with an extended chain anionic surfactant.
Co-granules, detergents and cleaning agents and use thereof
There are disclosed co-granules coated with hydroxymethyl cellulose and containing: b1) cyclic sulfonimine, b2) bleach activator selected from the group consisting of tetraacetylethylenediamine, decanoyloxybenzoic acid or mixtures thereof, and b3) carboxymethyl cellulose as binder, wherein the binder consists of the carboxymethyl cellulose of component b)3 which has a solubility of at least 1 g of carboxymethyl cellulose in 1 L of water at 25° C. and wherein the coating comprises hydroxymethyl cellulose in an amount of from 5 to 20 wt. % of the coated co-granules.
Narrow range alcohol alkoxylates and derivatives thereof
The present invention relates generally to narrow range alcohol alkoxylates and derivatives thereof, such as alkyl ether sulfates.
HIGHLY ALKALINE TEXTILE WASHING AGENT COMPRISING PROTEASE
The present invention relates to a textile washing agent, in particular a liquid textile washing agent, comprising a) at least one protease, wherein the protease has proteolytic activity and comprises an amino acid sequence which has at least 70% sequence identity with the amino acid sequence given in SEQ ID NO:1 over its entire length and, in each case based on the numbering according to SEQ ID NO:1, has (i) at the positions that correspond to positions 9, 130, 133, 144, 217, 252 and 271, amino acid substitutions, in particular the amino acid substitutions 9T, 130D/V, 133A, 144K, 217M, 252T and 271E, and (ii) at at least one, preferably at least two, of the positions that correspond to positions 6, 89, 131, 166, 189, 211 or 224, at least one additional amino acid substitution, in particular selected from 6W/F, 89A/G, 131H/Y/F, 166M/L/I, 189T/L/I, 211N/Q and 224A/G, more preferably selected from 6W, 89A, 131H, 166M, 189T, 211N and 224A, and b) at least one washing agent ingredient, preferably in an amount of from 0.01 to 99.9 wt.%, wherein the textile washing agent has a pH of from approximately 9 to approximately 12, measured in a 1 wt.% solution in deionized water at 20° C. The present invention also relates to corresponding methods for cleaning textiles, in which methods agents according to the invention are used, and to uses of agents according to the invention for removing protease-sensitive stains from textiles.
LIQUID DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
Liquid detergent compositions can include a first surfactant which is a mixture of surfactant isomers of Formula 1 and surfactants of Formula 2:
##STR00001##

Surfactant package for high foaming detergents with low level of medium to long chain linear alcohols
The present invention relates to a surfactant booster for use in high foaming cleaning compositions. In an aspect of the invention, a C6, C7, C8, C9, C10, C11 or C12 linear alcohol in very low amounts is added to increase surface activity, foam and wetting properties of the composition. The alcohol is added in an amount of alcohol to surfactant of about 1:100 to 1:200 and must be linear. In another aspect, the invention relates to novel cleaning compositions such as pot and pan soaking compositions, dishwashing compositions, food and beverage foaming cleaners, vehicle cleaning and the like suitable for use in hard water, which can be solid or liquid. The invention further relates to methods of making these compositions, and to methods employing these compositions.
