LAUNDRY TREATMENT CARTRIDGE
A laundry treatment cartridge that includes a first sub-container and a second sub-container. The first sub-container contains and first laundry treatment composition. The second sub-container contains a second laundry treatment composition that differs from the first laundry treatment composition. The first sub-container and second sub-container are unitarily fixed with the cartridge.
Sulfoperoxycarboxylic acids, their preparation and methods of use as bleaching and antimicrobial agents
The present invention relates to novel sulfoperoxycarboxylic acid compounds, and methods for making and using them. The sulfoperoxycarboxylic compounds of the invention are storage stable, water soluble and have low to no odor. Further, the compounds of the present invention can be formed from non-petroleum based renewable materials. The compounds of the present invention can be used as antimicrobials, and bleaching agents. The compounds of the present invention are also suitable for use as coupling agents.
Toilet waste material treatment packaged formulation and method
A reactive toilet treatment packaged formulation and method for treatment of waste material resulting in a more stable, entombed treated waste product. The reactive toilet treatment comprises a foamable surfactant that is granular and sodium percarbonate. A multi-part formulation can be delivered in a multi-compartment vessel that cooperates with a self-contained non-contact agitating toilet. The reactive treatment formulation prevents odors, bacterial growth, and stabilizes waste to reduce spillage during disposal.
METHOD OF WASHING TEXTILE ARTICLES
The present invention relates to a method of washing textile articles that can be carried out, for example, in a continuous batch tunnel washer. Embodiments of the present method can include treating the textile with an aqueous composition including cleaning agent and halogen-containing bleaching agent for a time sufficient to remove soil from the textile and contacting the halogen-treated textile with an aqueous composition including a peroxycarboxylic acid. The concentration of halogen after the sufficient time can be at a level that does not result in adverse interaction between the halogen-containing bleaching agent and the peroxycarboxylic acid.
Embodiments of the present method can clean textiles with the results of more effective stain removal and less waste through destruction of the textile article. Further, the present invention can clean a textile contacted soiled by a composition including chlorhexidine gluconate without resulting staining of the textile, which staining could have been permanent.
Material containing solid bleaching agent, and detergent composition
A stabilized solid bleaching agent which has good solubility in water without undergoing the occurrence of foaming and without generating residues has been demanded. The present invention provides a stabilized solid-bleaching-agent-containing material having a coating layer formed therein, wherein the coating layer contains at least one component selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid, an alkali metal salt of a non-cyclic dicarboxylic acid, an alkali metal salt of a non-cyclic monocarboxylic acid having 1 to 7 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof.
Composition and method for decontaminating opioids on surfaces
A composition that can decontaminate opioids on surfaces or objects, and in particular decontaminate fentanyls on surfaces using an opioid-active reagent and an opioid-effective solubilizing agent, which is a mixture of an alkyl dimethylamine oxide surfactant, an alkyl dimethylamine oxide surfactant, a C.sub.8-18 alkyl polyethylene glycol sorbitan fatty ester surfactant, and a C.sub.12-14 secondary alcohol ethoxylate surfactant. Preferably, the opioid-active reagent is chlorine dioxide. Additionally, methods for decontaminating opioids on surfaces using this composition.
PORTABLE WASHING KIT AND WASHING METHOD
A holder is formed of a single sheet, and includes two folding portions located at a predetermined distance in its longitudinal direction. The holder is folded in three by being divided by the two folding portions into a first holder-sheet portion, a second holder-sheet portion, and a third holder-sheet portion arranged in a stated order. A holding portion being a slit that holds a detergent packet, a rinse packet, and a support sheet is formed in the first holder-sheet portion.
USE OF UREA OR A UREA/CHELATOR COMBINATION TO CHEMICALLY STABILIZE PEROXYCARBOXYLIC ACID AND PEROXIDE FORMULATIONS
Stabilized peroxide-containing compositions stabilized with urea and urea/chelator stabilizer blends are provided. The compositions are particularly suitable for, but not limited to, cleaning applications on surfaces within food and beverage industries which may require the use of materials that are acceptable for incidental food/food products/feed contact. Further, the stabilized compositions are particularly suitable for applications requiring materials that are generally regarded as safe (GRAS) or for applications where non-GRAS materials must be minimized. Methods of stabilizing peroxide-containing compositions and methods of using the compositions are also provided.
PEROXIDE BASED CLEANING COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure describes a peroxide based cleaning composition comprising a peroxide; a builder; a surfactant; a peroxide stabilizer; and remainder water and optional adjuvant. In various embodiments, the cleaning composition comprises hydrogen peroxide, sodium bicarbonate, a vegetable fatty acid potassium soap, glycerin, water and essential oil. The peroxide based cleaning composition exhibits storage stability for up to about 9-months and provides cleaning efficacy on a wide variety of hard surfaces and fabrics.
