ENHANCED PEROXYGEN STABILITY IN MULTI-DISPENSE TAED-CONTAINING PEROXYGEN SOLID
Stabilized compositions employing a sequestrant system and a binding system for improving shelf stability and dispensing stability of a solid activated bleach composition are disclosed. The compositions contain a peroxygen source and a catalyst activator which require generation of a peroxycarboxylic acid or other active oxygen sanitizing agent at a point of use. Stabilized compositions employ a sequestrant system including a phosphonic acid and/or dipicolinic acid sequestrant and a binding system comprising an anionic surfactant for a solid formulation of a catalyst activator and peroxygen source to provide shelf stability and dispensing stability for a activated bleach composition. Methods of formulating and use are further disclosed.
Dishwashing detergents containing a salicylidene-based chelant
The object of the present invention is to provide a detergent, especially a dishwashing detergent, with improved detergency. Detergent compositions having metal complexes with certain salicylidene ligands, which may be created in situ, solve this problem.
Material containing solid bleaching agent, and detergent composition
A stabilized solid bleaching agent which has good solubility in water without undergoing the occurrence of foaming and without generating residues has been demanded. The present invention provides a stabilized solid-bleaching-agent-containing material having a coating layer formed therein, wherein the coating layer contains at least one component selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid, an alkali metal salt of a non-cyclic dicarboxylic acid, an alkali metal salt of a non-cyclic monocarboxylic acid having 1 to 7 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof.
Method for off-line cleaning of cooling towers
A method of cleaning a cooling water system is disclosed. The method may include contacting a cooling tower fill with a composition that may include a surfactant and an additive selected from an oxidizing agent, an acid, and any combination thereof when the cooling water system is off-line. The method may include contacting a deposit in the cooling tower fill with the composition. The oxidizing agent may be hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide, ozone, sodium hypobromite, sodium or potassium permanganate, or any combination thereof. The surfactant may include a C.sub.8-C.sub.10 alkyl polyglycoside and a C.sub.10-C.sub.18 alkyl polyglycoside.
Composition and method for decontaminating opioids on surfaces
A composition that can decontaminate opioids on surfaces or objects, and in particular decontaminate fentanyls on surfaces using an opioid-active reagent and an opioid-effective solubilizing agent, which is a mixture of an alkyl dimethylamine oxide surfactant, an alkyl dimethylamine oxide surfactant, a C.sub.8-18 alkyl polyethylene glycol sorbitan fatty ester surfactant, and a C.sub.12-14 secondary alcohol ethoxylate surfactant. Preferably, the opioid-active reagent is chlorine dioxide. Additionally, methods for decontaminating opioids on surfaces using this composition.
Post CMP cleaning compositions for ceria particles
The invention provides a removal composition and process for cleaning post-chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) contaminants and ceria particles from a microelectronic device having said particles and contaminants thereon. The composition achieves highly efficacious removal of the ceria particles and CMP by-product contaminant material from the surface of the microelectronic device.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR REMEDIATION OF FLOODWATER-DAMAGE
Methods and apparatus for remediating buildings damaged by floodwaters. The methods include removing floodwater-damaged wall cladding to expose underlying structure. Applying under pressure a chemical composition to remove malodor and that penetrates into the underlying structure. Then, allowing a powdery surface coating to form on surfaces of the underlying structure. Useful apparatus includes a container configured to contain a liquid phase of a chemical composition and a pressurized gas canister associated with the container for supplying gas under pressure to a fluid conduit extending from an inlet of the container to an outlet of the container. The apparatus can include a venturi in a flowpath of the fluid conduit which suctions a chemical composition in the container into the fluid conduit for expulsion from the outlet of the container and into a high pressure spray delivery hose.
FORMULATION DELIVERY SYSTEM HAVING A SOLID CHEMISTRY
A formulation delivery system for use with an outdoor cleaning device is provided. The formulation delivery system has a composition containing chlorine, wherein the composition is in a form of a solid chemistry and the outdoor cleaning device is a spray wand containing the composition. The chlorine is selected from the group consisting of calcium hypochlorite; 1,3,5-Triazine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-trione, 1,3-dichloro-, sodium salt, dihydrate (dichlor); 1,3,5-Trichloro-1,3,5-triazinane-2,4,6-trione (trichlor), chloramine-T hydrate, and a combination thereof. A spray wand having a refill cartridge for containing the composition in solid form is also provided.
Method of washing textile articles
The present invention relates to a method of washing textile articles that can be carried out, for example, in a continuous batch tunnel washer. Embodiments of the present method can include treating the textile with an aqueous composition including cleaning agent and halogen-containing bleaching agent for a time sufficient to remove soil from the textile and contacting the halogen-treated textile with an aqueous composition including a peroxycarboxylic acid. The concentration of halogen after the sufficient time can be at a level that does not result in adverse interaction between the halogen-containing bleaching agent and the peroxycarboxylic acid. Embodiments of the present method can clean textiles with the results of more effective stain removal and less waste through destruction of the textile article. Further, the present invention can clean a textile contacted soiled by a composition including chlorhexidine gluconate without resulting staining of the textile, which staining could have been permanent.
DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to polypeptides having hexosaminidase activity, and polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides. The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides as well as methods of producing and using the polypeptides.
