Adjustable support and foldable bed frame having same
Disclosed are adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies, and foldable bed frames having adjustable supports, bedding support assemblies or both. A foldable bed frame includes first and second sub-frames, first and second leg assemblies, and a plurality of adjustable supports. First and second sub-frames are pivotally connected with each other at their proximal sides. First and second leg assemblies are pivotally connected with the first and second sub-frames, respectively. Each adjustable support has one end connected to a sub-frame, and the other end connected to a leg assembly. An adjustable support includes movably coupled inner and outer bars, and a locking and unlocking mechanism to selectively restrict the inner and outer tubular bars from moving with respect to each other and thus selectively restrict the leg assembly from rotating with respect to the sub-frame.
ARTICLE COMPRISING A TEMPERATURE-CONDITIONED SURFACE, THERMOELECTRIC CONTROL UNIT, AND METHOD FOR TEMPERATURE-CONDITIONING THE SURFACE OF AN ARTICLE
The present invention provides systems, methods, and articles for temperature conditioning a surface. An article is formed from a first layer having a plurality of openings and a second layer having a corresponding plurality of openings. At least one interior chamber constructed and configured to retain a fluid without leaking is defined between an interior surface of the first layer and an interior surface of the second layer. At least one flexible fluid supply line delivers the fluid to the at least one interior chamber. At least one flexible fluid return line removes the fluid from the at least one interior chamber. At least one control unit that is operable to selectively cool or heat the fluid is attached to the at least one flexible fluid supply line and the at least one flexible fluid return line.
Flat Sheet Providing Fitted Mattress Engagement
A flat bottom sheet is provided which is adapted for engagement to an underlying mattress. A plurality of biasing bands are configured to provide a biased engagement of four corners of the bottom sheet to four corners of the mattress and concurrently biasly hold side portions taught against the sides of the mattress. A top sheet may be included which is engaged to the bottom sheet and allows for concurrent engagement of both a top and bottom sheet to a mattress to which they are sized to engage.
SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING SHEET SLIPPAGE, METHOD FOR PREVENTING SHEET SLIPPAGE
The invention provides a system for preventing sheet slippage having a sheet retention device configured to at least partially underlie mattress having a first flat member having a first surface; at least one second flat member attached to the first flat member having a second surface, where the first and second flat members have a closed configuration where the first and second surfaces oppose each other, an open configuration where the first and second surfaces are perpendicular to each other, and an infinite number of positions in between the open and closed configurations; and at least one retaining member in communication with the first surface. The invention also provides a method for using the invented system for preventing sheet slippage.
BED SHEET SYSTEM
A system and method of changing a sheet for a mattress of a bed is provided. More specifically, a bedding system includes a retention element sized to be retained on the mattress. A first bedding element is selectively interconnected to the retention system. Optionally, a second bedding element may be interconnected to the first bedding element. In one embodiment, at least one two-part closure interconnects the first bedding element to the retention element. In another embodiment, buttons interconnect the second bedding element to the first bedding element. In yet another embodiment, at least one two-part closure interconnects the second bedding element to the first bedding element. The two-part closure may be a zipper, a plurality of snaps, and a hook and loop system. In one embodiment, the retention element is removably interconnected to the mattress by at least one fastener or closure.
FITTED-SHEET RETENTION ARRANGEMENT
The present invention provides a bedding system where a band is placed along the periphery of a mattress, the band including regions of one of a hook or loop type fastener. A sheet with the corresponding hook or loop fastener covers the mattress, and the corresponding fastener on the sheet contacts the band at the region, such that the sheet attaches to the band.
Sheet bed tightener
A cord with an outer fabric covering over a sheath and draw string is used to secure a sheet to a bed. The cord has a series of clips attached there-to by a second cord or by direct attachment. The clips are in turn removably attachable to edges of a sheet. One then tightens the draw string, reducing the length of the cord, and continues to do so until the sheet is pulled to a bottom side of the mattress. In this manner, the sheet ends are beneath the mattress and tightened thereto by the cord. The cord further snaps to itself, in embodiments of the disclosed technology, to form a closed loop around the bed.
Adjustable bedding cover height and lengthwise positioning apparatus
An adjustable bedding (18) cover height and lengthwise positioning apparatus (30). A base (32) is configured for positioning between a bed frame (12) and an adjacent mattress (14). At least one riser (36, 38) allows adjustment of the height and lengthwise positioning of bedding with respect to the mattress. A connecting section (34), connected between the base and the risers optionally allows rotation of the risers with respect to the base. A clip (34) is connected to the at least one riser and secures the bedding to the apparatus. An optional top support (40) provides a support width for the bedding which is preferably at least as broad as the width between a user's feet when the user is sleeping on his or her back. An optional friction strip (39) on the base prevents slippage of the apparatus.
BED COVERING AND BED COVERING COUPLE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
Aspects of the present disclosure generally pertain to bedding that is removably secured to a bed. Aspects of the present disclosure are more specifically directed toward a system and method for bed covering and a breakaway bed covering couple. Other embodiments may include fitted sheets.
Bedding system and method
The present disclosure relates to a bedding system that can minimize the time, labor and/or frustration associated with making a bed. It comprises a fitted sheet to fit over the mattress top surface and side surfaces and a flat sheet to fit over the fitted sheet outer surface. The flat sheet lower section is being secured/coupled to the fitted sheet lower section. The bedding system further comprises a bedspread to fit over the flat sheet outer surface. The bedspread lower longitudinal edge, the bedspread first side longitudinal edge, the bedspread second side longitudinal edge and the bedspread upper section are being releasably secured to the flat sheet lower longitudinal edge, the flat sheet first side longitudinal edge, the flat sheet second side longitudinal edge and the flat sheet upper section along their respective lengths.
