An article includes a unit dose packet of a concentrated cleaning composition for cleaning laundry. The concentrated cleaning composition comprising a nonionic surfactant, fatty acid methyl ester sulfonate, fatty acid soap, one or a plurality of enzymes, and a solvent system. The cleaning composition is compatible with polyvinyl alcohol film. The unit dose packet includes the concentrated laundry cleaning composition disposed in a single chamber, dual chamber, or multi-chamber unit dose packet having a total weight of the concentrated cleaning composition of from 15 grams to 30 grams.
Method Of Making An Opacified Liquid Detergent Composition In The Absence Of A Microplastic Opacifier
A method of making an opacified liquid detergent composition is disclosed. The method includes the steps of combining at least one anionic surfactant, a fatty acid, and water to form a mixture having a transparent optical appearance, then adding divalent cations to the mixture, and opacifying the mixture as the divalent cations interact with the fatty acid to form the opacified liquid detergent composition in the absence of a microplastic opacifier. The opacified liquid detergent composition having a turbidity value of greater than about 250 turbidity units (NTUs) measured utilizing a turbidity meter at about 24° C.
Opacified Liquid Detergent Composition That Is Free Of A Microplastic Opacifier
An opacified liquid detergent composition includes at least one anionic surfactant, a fatty acid, calcium cations, and water. The fatty acid and calcium cations are present in the opacified liquid detergent composition in a weight ratio of the fatty acid to the calcium cations of from about 1:25 to about 1:150. The opacified liquid detergent composition is free of a microplastic opacifier and has a turbidity value of greater than 250 NTU measured utilizing a turbidity meter at about 24° C.
Heavy-duty laundry detergent wipe with controlled activation of the washing active substances
The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing a four-phase heavy-duty laundry detergent wipe, characterized by the following steps: (a) manufacturing a liquid starting laundry detergent solution which contains enzymes, surfactants and at least one polyvalent alcohol as a solubilizer and which is present in a liquid phase; (b) incorporating soap in the liquid starting laundry detergent solution to obtain a liquid laundry detergent solution (A), wherein the liquid laundry detergent solution is two-phase due to over-saturation; (c) admixing at least two different washing active solid components to the liquid laundry detergent solution (A) which are insoluble in the polyvalent alcohols of step a) to obtain a laundry detergent dispersion (B) which contains the liquid over-saturated two-phase laundry detergent solution (A) from step b) as a liquid continuous outer binary phase and the at least two washing active solid components as a solid phase; (d) applying the laundry detergent dispersion (B) to a solid carrier substrate (C) such that the final product is a four-phase system. Furthermore, a four-phase heavy-duty laundry detergent wipe is disclosed, comprising a solid carrier substrate (C) and a laundry detergent dispersion (B) which has been applied to the carrier substrate, characterized in that the laundry detergent dispersion contains a liquid over-saturated two-phase laundry detergent solution (A), which contains enzymes, surfactants and soap and at least one polyvalent alcohol as a solubilizer, as a liquid continuous outer binary phase and at least two different washing active solid components as a solid phase which is insoluble in the solubilizer.
Detergent composition comprising an acidic sophorose lipid and fatty acid salt mixture
This invention provides a cleaning agent composition that exhibits good storage stability, especially storage stability at low temperature, and a cleaning agent composition that can be favorably dispensed from a dispenser. The cleaning agent composition of the present invention comprises (a) a fatty acid salt and (b) a sophorose lipid, wherein the proportion of the component (a) is 4 to 18 mass % based on the cleaning agent composition taken as 100 mass %; the proportion of a fatty acid salt having 12 or fewer carbon atoms is 15 parts by mass or more, and the proportion of a fatty acid salt having 16 or more carbon atoms is 60 parts by mass or less, based on 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the component (a); the proportion of an acidic sophorose lipid is 80 mass % or more based on the total amount of the component (b) taken as 100 mass %; and the proportion of the component (b) is 5 to 80 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the component (a).
