DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR PEROXIDE COMPOUNDS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS
A peroxide delivery system is produced. The peroxide delivery system includes a dry powder that releases the peroxide quickly and completely when needed. The peroxide delivery system may be produced by combining a liquid peroxide or peroxide solution with an inorganic solid support that is inert to the peroxide and is capable of adsorbing large amounts of the liquid peroxide or peroxide solution while remaining dry to the touch. Methods of combining the inorganic solid support with the liquid peroxide or peroxide solution are disclosed. The peroxide delivery system can be formulated in preparations of powders, liquids, foams, sprays, gels, ointments, creams, sticks, or pastes that can be utilized in a variety of applications such as cleaning, stain removal and antiseptic products, for example.
Cleaning composition, method of making and use thereof
A method for formulating a cleaning composition contains the step of coating a granular absorbent material with a coating agent to produce a coated absorbent material and mixing the coated absorbent material with a sanitation agent, wherein the coated absorbent material absorbs the sanitation agent to form the cleaning composition. The resulting cleaning composition may be used for cleaning up pathogens or hazardous materials. The cleaning composition may also function as a liquefiable dry cleaning powder for public areas in response to bodily fluid incidents. A coating method of a non-toxic bio static film on a high surface area solid is disclosed.
LIQUID LOADING COMPOSITION, METHOD OF MAKING AND USE THEREOF
A method for formulating a composition contains the step of coating a granular absorbent material with a coating agent to produce a coated absorbent material and mixing the coated absorbent material with a sanitation agent, wherein the coated absorbent material absorbs the sanitation agent to form the liquid loading composition. Liquid-loading compositions that can absorb liquids in many applications, including clean-up and farming, are also disclosed.

PROCESS FOR MAKING SOLID METHYLGLYCINE DIACETATE (MGDA) ALKALI METAL SALT, AND SOLID PARTICLES
Process for making solid methylglycine diacetate (MGDA) alkali metal salt (a), said process comprising the steps of (A) providing a 35 to 60% by weight aqueous solution of said MGDA salt having a temperature in the range of from 50 to 90 C., (B) adding 0.01 to 2% by weight of a particulate solid with a pore volume in the range of from 0.25 to 0.75 cm.sup.3/g, determined by nitrogen adsorption in accordance with 66134:1998-02 (b), the percentage referring to the content of (a), (C) crystallizing (a), (D) removing said crystalline (a) from the mother liquor.
METHODS FOR REDUCING WATER CONSUMPTION, CARBON EMISSIONS AND CHEMICAL USAGE
A method for reducing water consumption in a toilet system comprises adding a water-soluble pellet to the toilet bowl prior to or following use of said toilet for urination, the pellet comprising a colourant and a fragrance for masking the colour and odour of urine residing in the toilet bowl, and preferably also disintegrant and/or an effervescent system that effervesces on contact with water, and refraining from flushing said toilet until after said toilet has been used at least one further time. The use of such water-soluble pellets serves to reduce the perceived need to flush the toilet after every use and drives positive change against wasteful water usage. The pellets are small, for example 8 mm or less in diameter and weigh 0.1-0.3 g, and can be stored in a re-sealable, refillable, reusable dispenser for personal or larger scale use. The method also serves to reduce carbon emissions and chemical usage arising from treatment of fresh and waste water.
Cleaning composition
A cleaning composition comprising a particle said particle comprising: (a) from 30 to 70% by weight thereof of a polymer having a softening point in the range from about 20 C. to about 60 C.; (b) from 20 to 60% by weight thereof of a first material having a BET surface area greater than 100 m2/g and a D50 from about 5 to about 20 m; (c) from 3 wt % to 15% by weight thereof of a second material having a BET surface area from about 0.01 to about 5 m2/g and a D50 from about 30 to about 100 m.
