METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIQUID COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING A SURFACTANT AND HAVING A YIELD POINT

The invention relates to a method for producing liquid compositions that have a yield point and contain one or more surfactants, in which a basic formulation comprising at least one surfactant and at least one solvent is produced in a batch process in a first step, and this basic formulation is differentiated in a continuous method in a subsequent second step. The invention also relates to the compositions obtained in this manner.

Proportioner-ready bioenzymatic concentrated cleaning product

A concentrated bioenzymatic cleaning product is provided which maintains a homogenous composition under static conditions and does not require shaking or mixing prior to dilution. The concentrated bioenzymatic cleaning product includes bacillus spores, a suspending and/or rheology modifying agent, an odor control agent, a pH adjuster, and water. The types and amounts of ingredients are selected to maintain the bacillus spores in suspension under static conditions, enabling the concentrated bioenzymatic cleaning product to be diluted using a proportioner system.

Compositions including one or more fluorochemical surfactants of the formula: (I) where R.sub.f is a perfluoroalkyl group, each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are C.sub.1-C.sub.20 alkyl, alkoxy, or aryl; and R.sup.4 is alkylene, arylene of a combination thereof. R.sup.4 is preferably an alkylene of 1-20 carbons that may be cyclic or acyclic, may optionally contain catenated or terminal heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of N, O, and S. Most preferably R.sup.4 is an alkylene of 2-10 carbon atoms. Described are anionic N-substituted fluorinated amine oxide surfactants, and use thereof in cleaning and in acid etch solutions. The cleaning and etch solutions are used with a wide variety of substrates, for example, in the cleaning and etching of silicon oxide-containing substrates.

The invention provides a liquid laundry detergent composition having:

(i) an aqueous continuous phase including from 3 to 80% (by weight based on the total weight of the composition) of one or more detersive surfactants and from 0.05% to 2% (by weight based on the total weight of the composition) of a first polymeric rheology modifier; and
(ii) a dispersed phase of suspended benefit agent delivery particles; the particles having a core-shell structure in which a shell of polymeric material entraps a core containing the benefit agent;
in which a second polymeric rheology modifier comprises a hydrophilic polysaccharide backbone and is covalently attached to the exterior surface of the shell of the delivery particle (either directly or via a linking group);
and in which the first and the second polymeric rheology modifiers each have a hydrophilic backbone including at least one hydrophobic segment which is available to form non-specific hydrophobic associations within the composition.
