Single Cover Passive Mattress Spinner
A system is disclosed for facilitating rotation of a mattress in a horizontal plane carried by a box spring or a platform. Surfaces between the mattress and the box spring or platform are selectively placed in engagement with each other. The surfaces may be provided by two separate covers; a single cover and the inherent surface roughness of the box spring or fixed or adjustable platform; a single cover with an embedded surface or no covers with embedded surfaces in both the mattress and the box spring or platform. In the latter embodiment, the mattress and the box spring or platform are secured together in a normal mode of operation to prevent unintended movement of the mattress.
Adjustable bed foundation with rotating head section
An adjustable bed foundation comprises an outer support structure including a head rail, a foot rail, and two parallel side rails. A first pair of cross members extends perpendicularly between the parallel side rails, while a second pair of cross members extends perpendicularly between the first pair of cross members. An articulating frame, which includes a stationary section and a rotating head section pivotally connected to the stationary section, is secured to the second pair of cross members such that the rotating head section extends towards the head rail. The adjustable bed foundation also includes a platform secured to the articulating frame. Adjustable bed assemblies are further provided and include a mattress positioned atop the platform of the adjustable bed foundation.
Bedding System
A bedding system is disclosed, featuring an anchor assembly and a comforter to enhance sleep quality and simplify bed-making. The anchor assembly encases a mattress, with the comforter on top. The bedding system includes adjustable and improved anchors (Y and H anchors), securing the comforter along the mattress's sides and bottom, ensuring it stays tucked in. These anchors allow for customizable tightness adjustments, promoting optimal comfort and superior sleep quality. The innovative system also features efficient connection mechanisms between the anchors, comforter, and/or fitted sheet, facilitating easy disassembly for washing or replacement.
Pillow napkin dispensing system and method
A dispenser for pillow napkins is provided that includes a carton having a bottom panel, opposite left and right panels extending vertically from the bottom panel, opposite front and back panels positioned between the left and right panels and extending vertically from the bottom panel, and a top panel extending parallel to the bottom panel. Left and right supports are positioned within a cavity of the carton. A plurality of pillow napkins are wound about a spool. The spool is positioned in the cavity such that the spool rotatably engages the left and right supports and the pillow napkins are spaced apart from the top and bottom panels. Methods of use are provided.
Bedding holder and associated method of installation
A bedding anchor is in the form of a single holder that has at least one open through port for receiving an edge of a bedding fabric. The single holder is elongated in shape, has a length greater than a width thereof, and has the one open port arranged closer to one end of opposed one and other ends of the single holder so that, when the single holder is flipped lengthwise, the single holder can be inserted under an overlying supporting mattress. The holder includes at least a first through port disposed adjacent the one end of the holder, and at least a second through port disposed adjacent the other end of the holder with the at least one first through port being larger in open area than the at least one second port.
PAPER TOWELING OR TISSUE DISPENSING APPARATUS INCLUDING ROLL OVERSPIN CONTROL
Dispenser apparatus for holding a roll of paper toweling or tissue sheet material and dispensing the sheet material, the apparatus including structure exerting drag forces on the roll to reduce overspin when pulling forces on the sheet material causing dispensing have been terminated.
Active mattress spinner
A device is disclosed for facilitating rotation of a mattress in a horizontal plane carried by a box spring or a platform. In order to facilitate rotation, slick surfaces between the mattress and the box spring or platform are selectively placed in contact in order to reduce the normal friction therebetween. The slick surfaces may be provided by two (2) separate covers; one cover for the mattress and one cover for the box spring or platform. A first cover is provided with a slick and non-slick surface. In order to further facilitate rotation, a second cover includes a slick surface on one side and forms part of a levitation device. The other side of the second cover may be formed with a slick or a non-slick surface. The levitation device creates an air cushion between the mattress and the box spring under the influence of an air supply which lifts the mattress and allows the mattress to be rotated in a horizontal plane virtually effortlessly. Once the mattress has been rotated to the desired position, the air supply is removed and the first cover is attached to the underside of the mattress so that its non-slick side is in contact with the box spring or platform or bed skirt and its slick side is in contact with the slick side of the other cover and the levitation device defining a normal mode of operation. In a rotate mode of operation, the first cover is attached to the box spring or platform so that its non-slick surface is in contact therewith. Alternatively, the first cover may be integrally incorporated into the box spring or a slick surface may be integrally formed on the platform that forms part of the platform bed. In this embodiment, in order to reduce movement of the mattress with respect to the box spring or platform, the mattress is secured relative to the box spring or platform by removable fasteners in a normal mode of operation. In yet another alternate embodiment of the invention, a portion of the levitation device may be built into the mattress.
Pillowcase Changing Device
A pillowcase changing device for facilitating the changing of pillowcases includes a pair of grabbers. Each grabber comprises a frame. A field is coupled to and extends between an inner perimeter of the frame. A plurality of tines and a handle are coupled to and extend from an outer perimeter of the frame. The handle is positioned on the frame such that the handle is configured to be grasped in a hand of a user. The pair of grabbers is configured to position singly adjacent to a top face and a bottom face of a pillow. The handles are positioned on the frames such that the handles are positioned to motivate the frames into a substantially closed configuration. The pillow is compressed between the pair of grabbers such that respective tines are interlockingly positioned. The pillow is insertable into and extractable from a pillowcase.
Mattress lifting tool
A tool that includes the components to raise a bed mattress above its mating box spring. This provides the space around the perimeter of the mattress to easily tuck a fitted sheet, mattress cover and/or blanket. It eliminates the need for lifting an unusually heavy mattress while attempting to perform the task at hand.
