A gellable vehicle surface cleaning composition is provided that includes a non-ionic surfactant combined with gelling components of an inorganic gel forming substance and at least one water soluble polymer in a ratio of the inorganic gel forming substance to the hydrophilic polymer of between 0.1-1:1. The non-ionic surfactant and the gelling components are provided in an aqueous solvent system. The aqueous solvent system includes a first solvent having a Kamlet-Taft solvent polarity α (K-T α) value of zero, a second solvent having a K-T α 0.6-0.85 value, and water present at more than 50 total weight percent. A process of for cleaning a vehicle surface with a stain is also provided that includes the composition to the stain on the vehicle surface a composition and after allowing sufficient time for the composition to lift the stain, the stain and the composition are removed from the vehicle surface.

The opacified liquid detergent composition having a turbidity value of greater than about 250 turbidity units (NTUs) measured utilizing a turbidity meter at about 24° C.

The composition includes a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate and/or an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C.sub.8-C.sub.20 backbone that is ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide, and a non-ionic surfactant comprising an alkoxylated alcohol, in an amount from 20 to 70 wt %, water in an amount from about 10 to about 30 wt %, free fatty acids in an amount from about 2 to 12 wt %, a magnesium cation in an amount of from 0.15 to 1 wt %, and colloidal particles such as an encapsulated fragrance. The composition is opacified and structured yet free of a structuring agent or an opacifying agent. Also disclosed is a method of making such product.

Opacified And Structured Liquid Laundry Detergents Containing Colloidal Particles

An in-vitro opacified and structured detergent composition includes a surfactant component present in an amount of about 7 to about 50 weight percent actives and including (1) an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C.sub.8-C.sub.20 backbone that is ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide, (2) at least one non-ionic surfactant comprising an alkoxylated alcohol, and (3) at least one anionic surfactant comprising a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate. The detergent composition also includes water present in a total amount of from about 30 to about 90 weight percent, free fatty acids in a total amount from about 1 to 15 weight percent, a magnesium cation in a total amount of from 0.05 to 1 weight percent, and colloidal particles such as encapsulated fragrances. The composition has a yield point value of at least 0.075 Pa at 20° C.
