Ringing gel composition
The present invention relates to the field of liquid solubilizing systems. More specifically, the present invention relates to a ringing gel composition, one that is a self-thickened composition having a viscoelastic behavior and a viscosity comprised between 0.1 and 1000 Pa.Math.s at 20 C. at 0.01 s.sup.1 shear rate. The ringing gel has an aqueous phase, a surfactant system of one or more non-ionic surfactant(s), a linker and an oil phase that includes a hydrophobic active ingredient such as a perfume. Consumer products that contain the ringing gel composition, such as a self-thickened liquid laundry scent booster are also part of the present invention.
Detergent products, methods and manufacture
A water-soluble pouch suitable for use in machine dishwashing and which comprises a plurality of compartments in generally superposed or superposable relationship, each containing one or more detergent active or auxiliary components, and wherein the pouch has a volume of from about 5 to about 70 ml and a longitudinal/transverse aspect ratio in the range from about 2:1 to about 1:8, preferably from about 1:1 to about 1:4. The water-soluble pouch allows for optimum delivery of dishwashing detergent. A process for the manufacture of multi-compartment pouches and a pack to contain the pouches are also disclosed.
GEL-STATE DETERGENT COMPOSITION AND DETERGENT PRODUCT
A gel-state detergent composition which includes cellulose nanofibers, a surfactant, and water. The content of the cellulose nanofibers is preferably 0.02-0.2 mass %. The cellulose nanofibers have an average fiber width of preferably 30-50 nm. Due to this, a gel-state detergent composition which has high fixability to the inner surface of a toilet bowl, etc. and is easy to squeeze out of the container can be provided.

Cationic poly alpha-1,3-glucan ethers
Poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compounds are disclosed herein comprising positively charged organic groups. The degree of substitution of the ether compounds is about 0.05 to about 3.0. Also disclosed are methods of producing poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compounds having positively charged organic groups, as well as methods of using these ether compounds for increasing the viscosity of a aqueous compositions. Hydrocolloids and aqueous solutions comprising the ether compounds are also disclosed.
