Synthetic detergent bars
A bar composition comprising: a) 10%-60% synthetic (non-soap) surfactant; b) 0%-50% fatty acid and soap wherein total fatty acid soap is less than 60% of total synthetic surfactant; c) 6.8%-54% water-soluble structurant, selected from • polyalkylene oxides having MW 1,500-10,000, • PEO-PPO blockcopolymers, wherein the water soluble structurant has a melting point of 40-100° C. and further comprises polyalkylene oxides having MW 50,000-500,000, 1-5 wt %; d) 0.1%-4.8% alkali metal isethionate; e) 2.7%-13.5% water, wherein the sum of water, alkali metal isethionate and water-soluble structurant is 10%-60%, wherein based on the total amount of water, alkali metal isethionate and said water-soluble structurant, • water is present 4-27%, • alkali metal isethionate is present less than 8%, • water-soluble structurant is present 68-90%. Use of the composition for eliminating efflorescence.
Pressed manual dish detergent
A solid block detergent composition is described which can be dispensed with a water spray to form an aqueous detergent for cutting and removing grease, removing and suspending soils and rinsing easily leaving cleaned ware. The solid block detergent contains a neutralized sulfonated anionic surfactant in combination with various processing aids to optimize soil removal in a formulation that can be pressed for form a solid.
Personal care compositions and articles
A compliant personal care composition can include i) from about 20% to about 80%, by weight of the composition, of a surfactant; and ii) from about 3% to about 40%, by weight of the composition, of a water insoluble hygroscopic fiber, fine, or filament; wherein the composition has a compliance value of about 0.01 kg/mm to about 1.5 kg/mm or before a simulated use. The composition may also be at least partially surrounded by a substrate and in the form of an article.
IMPROVEMENTS IN RELATION TO THE MANUFACTURE OF PERSONAL CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to a method of making solid cleansing compositions which comprise a non-soap anionic surfactant, a carrier, an emulsifier and water. The method entails preparing an emulsion of the components at an elevated temperature using excess water and subjecting the emulsion to cooling and solidification, wherein the water content is reduced. The invention further relates to the emulsions and to the novel solid cleansing compositions formed therefrom.
A SYNDET BAR COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a syndet bar composition comprising sulfonated methyl ester of a fatty acid having a chain length of 16 to 18 carbon atoms (C16-C18), wherein the sulfonated methyl ester is present in an amount of 5% to 30% by weight of the composition; a co-surfactant selected from the group consisting of alkyl sulfosuccinate, alkyl sulfate, alkyl ether sulfate, alkyl polyglucoside, or the combination thereof; a fatty alcohol selected from the group consisting of cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol or cetostearyl alcohol; a saturated fatty acid; a filler; and a humectant/moisturiser. The syndet bar composition is useful as a personal cleaning, laundry or dishwashing bar.
Cleansing bars with taurine
Described herein, are cleansing bar compositions comprising at least one cleanser chosen from soap and surfactant; taurine, in free or salt form; and at least one polymer. Methods of making using the cleansing bar compositions are also described.
STABLE ANHYDROUS LAUNDRY DETERGENT CONCENTRATE AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
The invention relates to stable, anhydrous laundry detergent concentrated formulation in solid forms.
Highly alkaline detergent composition
Present invention relates to a detergent composition and a method for preparing the composition. The composition may be a compressed tablet, a coated tablet, in form of small granules or pearls packed in a dose unit. The composition may also be formulated so as to be an effervescent composition. The detergent composition may conveniently be used in the food industry for cleaning of appliances in food processing and preparation or in the metal industry for cleaning of appliances with respect to soot or oil residues.
STABLE ANHYDROUS DISH SOAP AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
The application relates to stable, anhydrous dish soap formulation.
A SOAP BAR
The present invention relates to a soap bar comprising soap, at least one perfume oil, at least one polymer, optionally water, and optionally further known cosmetic ingredients other than the soap, the perfume oil, the polymer and the water, wherein the at least one polymer is a water-soluble polymer, wherein the polymer has a water solubility of at least 0.01 g of polymer in 100 g of water at 20 C. at one or more than one pH value in the range between (4) and (9), and wherein the at least one polymer is selected from the group consisting of a polymer in which more than 20 wt % of the repeating units of the polymer are repeating units derived from at least one ethylenically unsaturated, polymerizable monomer having at least one acid group, and a polymer comprising repeating units derived from N-vinylpyrrolidone, wherein the proportion of these repeating units in the polymer is at least 50 wt %.
