Composition comprising fatty acyl isethionate and synthetic wax and method producing the same
A method of preparing a component of a personal care bar, the method comprising: (a) providing a composition comprising an isethionate surfactant at a temperature of at least 20 C.; (b) combining the composition comprising the isethionate surfactant with a synthetic 5 wax and optional further components at a temperature of at least 120 C.; and (c) cooling the mixture obtained in step (b).
Personal care articles
A compliant personal care article, can include: a personal care composition, including i) a surfactant; and ii) from about 3% to about 40%, by weight of the composition, of a water insoluble hygroscopic fiber, fine, or filament; and a first contact substrate adjacent to the composition, wherein the contact substrate is a multiplanar film, includes a surface aberration, and has a surface aberration area of about 45% to about 98%.
Glucamides In Syndet Soaps
Disclosed are compositions containing:at least one N-alkyl-N-acyl glucamine as component A;at least one fatty acid and/or soap as component B;at least one acyl isethionate as component C;sodium isethionate as component D;water as component E; andoptionally, at least one other additive as component F. More than 20 weight percent, preferably more than 70 weight percent of the N-alkyl-N-acyl glucamines contain at least one C.sub.12- and/or C.sub.14- and/or C.sub.16- and/or C.sub.18-acyl group. Said compositions can be used as bars of soap.
PROCESS FOR REMOVING WATER FROM A FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENT COMPOSITION, AND COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THE RESULTING PRODUCT
Provided is a process for removing water from a functional ingredient composition that contains 10 wt % or more water, the process requiring no input of thermal energy. The amount of water in the resulting dewatered product is no more than 33% of the starting amount of the water in the functional ingredient, and the method yields a dewatered product that has a weight loss of 2% or less based on the total weight of the starting ingredients.
HIGH FOAMING TABLET COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
Pressed tablet compositions providing stabilized foaming and fast dissolution times of the tablets are provided. In particular, high foaming tablet compositions with a significantly smaller amount of surfactant active ingredients are provided along with methods of use thereof that are suitable for use as detergent compositions, foaming hand soap compositions, hard surface cleaning compositions, and carpet shampoo compositions for consumer and institutional uses.
Stable anhydrous laundry detergent concentrate and method of making same
The invention relates to stable, anhydrous laundry detergent concentrated formulation in solid forms.
