System and Method for Removing Plumbing Fixture Buildup
Buildup in a plumbing fixture is removed by providing a bag containing a quantity of concentrated fixture cleaning chemicals and then securing the bag to the fixture to be cleaned. After securing the bag to the fixture, the bag is filled with water from the fixture which mixes with the concentrated chemicals to create a cleaning solution that covers the fixture, and then the fixture is allowed to soak in the created cleaning solution to thereby dissolve the buildup.

It also relates to a cage and to a product comprising said solid composition and said cage, wherein said solid composition is contained in said cage. It further relates to a product comprising said solid composition and a porous solid support, wherein said solid composition is attached to said porous solid support. It further relates to a method for the controlled release of one or more actives in an automatic washing operation by providing said solid composition or any of the products to the machine in which said automatic washing operation is performed.
SOLID COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a solid composition comprising, based on the total weight of the composition, at least 50 wt. % of an ethoxylated alcohol having a melting point higher than 20° C. It also relates to a product comprising said solid composition in the form of a powder and a container, wherein said solid composition is comprised in said container. It also relates to product comprising said solid composition and a cage, wherein said solid composition is contained in said cage.
Method for manufacturing a dye scavenging substrate
A method for manufacturing a dye scavenging substrate which comprises the steps of: (a) providing an absorbent substrate; (b) passing the substrate through a bath containing an alkaline solution of a dye scavenging compound selected from: (i) a N-trisubstituted ammonium-2-hydroxy-3-halopropyl compound having the general formula (I), or (ii) a salt of epoxy propyl ammonium having the general formula (II), or a combination thereof; (c) subjecting the substrate to a pressure of from about 0.04 MPa to about 0.40 MPa; (d) wrapping the substrate in a water impermeable material and rotating the substrate for a period of from about 12 hours to about 60 hours; (e) removing the water impermeable material and passing the substrate through a bath containing an acid solution; (f) subjecting the substrate to a pressure of from about 0.15 MPa to about 0.40 MPa; and (g) drying the substrate.
LAUNDRY TREATMENT PARTICLES INCLUDING SILICONE
A composition including: a plurality of first particles including: (i) about 30% to about 95% by weight of the first particles a water soluble first carrier, wherein the first particles have a first particles onset of melt from about 25° C. to about 120° C.; and perfume; and (ii) a plurality of second particles including: about 30% to about 95% by weight of the second particles a water soluble second carrier, wherein the second particles have a second particles onset of melt from about 25° C. to about 120° C.; and silicone; wherein the first particles and the second particles are in a package.
SYNERGISTIC SURFACTANT PACKAGE FOR CLEANING OF FOOD AND OILY SOILS
The disclosure relates a surfactant package for use in hard surface cleaning compositions, preferably floor cleaning compositions which pair an anionic linear alkyl sulfonate surfactant and a nonionic surfactant in a ratio of 1:1 to 9:1. This combination provides for synergistic cleaning of both proteinaceous food soils (red soils) and hydrocarbon-based oily soils (black soils) while also reducing foam produced by the composition. Synergistic nonionic surfactants include EO/PO alcohol alkoxylates or EO/PO fatty alcohol surfactants with a propylene oxide to ethylene oxide to ratio of greater than 1.
SPRAY CONTAINER COMPRISING A DETERGENT COMPOSITION
The need for a light duty maintenance cleaning spray for hard surfaces, which result in less over-spray during application, especially when using spray applicators which provide large coverage angles, and provides more uniform coverage, especially on inclined surfaces, is met when the spray composition is formulated with low surfactant levels and thickener, and is applied as spray droplets having the desired particle size.
SILICONE COMPOUNDS
The present application relates to silicone compounds, compositions, packaged products and displays comprising such silicone compounds, and processes for making and using such compositions, packaged products and displays comprising such compositions. Such compositions have improved deposition and retention properties that may impart improved benefit characteristics to a composition and/or situs yet which changes its hydrophilicity/charge when desired.
