Detergent composition comprising a carbinol functional trisiloxane

A detergent composition comprises a trisiloxane having at least one carbinol functional group. The trisiloxane comprises the reaction product of (A) an initial trisiloxane and (B) an organic compound. Component (A) has a pendant silicon-bonded functional group selected from a hydrogen atom, an epoxy-containing group, an ethylenically unsaturated group, and an amine group. Typically, component (A) is free of certain terminal silicon-bonded functional groups and is free of polyoxyalkylene groups. Component (B) has a functional group reactive with the pendant silicon-bonded functional group of component (A), and has at least one hydroxyl functional group. The trisiloxane may be of the following general formula (I): (R.sup.1.sub.3SiO.sub.1/2)(R.sup.1R.sup.3SiO.sub.2/2)(R.sup.1.sub.3SiO.sub.1/2) (I). In formula (I), each R.sup.1 is an independently selected hydrocarbyl group. R.sup.3 may be selected from the groups (i) to (x) described herein, each of the groups having at least one carbinol group. Typically, the trisiloxane has 1-6 carbinol groups.

Copolymer formulations of poly (itaconic acid-co-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid) for dishwasher detergent compositions

The present invention relates to copolymer formulations of poly(itaconic acid-co-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid) for dishwasher detergent compositions with a controlled amount of a second polymeric component.

Neutral floor cleaner compositions

A cleaning composition that includes a first cleaning agent and a second cleaning agent. The first cleaning agent is water-soluble at room temperature and the second cleaning agent is water-insoluble at room temperature. Further, the first cleaning agent and the second cleaning agent are in a total amount of about 15 wt. % to about 30 wt. %, wherein the first cleaning agent and the second cleaning agent are alkyl polyalkylene glycol ether Guerbet surfactants having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of at least 10.5 and a formula RO(LO).sub.k(CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O).sub.mH, wherein R is a branched C.sub.8-C.sub.12 alkyl group, L is CH.sub.2CH.sub.2CH.sub.2 or CH.sub.2CH.sub.2CH.sub.2CH.sub.2, k is from 1-2, m is from 2 to 14, and the LO and CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O groups are in random or block order. A blend of the first cleaning agent and the second cleaning agent has a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance ranging from about 10.5 to about 12.5.
