The aim of the invention is to improve the primary detergent power of detergents and cleaning products, in particular with respect to soiling containing oil and/or grease. For this purpose, copolymers including ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived sulfobetaine units and hydroxyalkyl(meth)acrylic acid esters are incorporated into the products.

Caustic-free detergent compositions are provided. Detergent compositions including an aminocarboxylate, water conditioning agent, non-caustic source of alkalinity and water beneficially do not require the use of additional surfactants and/or polymers to provide suitable detergency and prevent scale build-up on treated surfaces. The detergent compositions are used with a sanitizer to employ the caustic-free detergent compositions are particularly suitable for use as low temperature ware wash detergents that beneficially reduce scale build-up. Methods of employing the caustic-free detergent compositions are also provided.

The present invention provides a method of manufacturing an automatic dishwashing detergent product, said product being provided as a discrete dosage unit and comprising a continuous, non-aqueous gel phase, comprising manufacturing said gel phase by a method comprising free radical polymerisation of monomer(s) in a non-aqueous reaction mixture to form a polymeric builder; wherein said reaction mixture comprises: at least one non-ionic surfactant which is an optionally end-capped alcohol alkoxylate; and one or more monomers comprising acrylic acid and optionally one or more further ,-ethylenically unsaturated acids, wherein no more than 0.1 wt % of the total amount of the monomer(s) are crosslinking monomer(s).

Provided among other things are a cleaning composition comprising a carrier fluid comprising in the carrier fluid polymer comprising particulate super absorbent polymer (PSAP), wherein the PSAP as in the cleaning composition is substantially at the percolation volume fraction or higher; wherein the cleaning composition can be passed over a surface driven by a pressure drop effective to render the composition traditional biofilm (TBF) cleaning effective and protein cleaning effective.

A bio resin agent cleaner and protectant for painted automotive surface finishes, clear coat finishes, fiberglass, chrome, rubber, plastic, gel coat, aluminum, steel, and glass surfaces. In addition to cleaning and protecting the product leaves a semi permanent gloss on most all surfaces. The bio resin agent cleaner and protectant may be a soy bio resin, a grapeseed bio resin, a sunflower bio resin, a vegetable based bio resin, or any equivalent bio resin, for example a soy methyl ester based from soy oil. In one embodiment the bio resin agent cleaner and protectant is a bio resin combined with surfactants and emulsifiers. The bio resin agent addresses the needs for cleaning and protecting painted automotive surfaces.

The invention relates to stable, anhydrous concentrated cleanser formulations.

Detergent compositions and methods of preparing and using the detergent compositions are disclosed. The detergent compositions comprise a polymer system comprising at least one polycarboxylic acid polymer, copolymer, or terpolymer, an alkalinity source comprising an alkali metal carbonate, a nonionic surfactant and water. The detergent compositions are suitable at alkaline pH and reduce or prevent scale formation, improve soil dispersion, and provide effective detergency.

A solid, particulate composition having at least one water-soluble carrier material, at least one fragrance and at least one rheology modifier, wherein the carrier material is a water-containing salt (hydrate) whose water vapor partial pressure at a specific temperature in the range from 30 to 100 C. corresponds to the H.sub.2O partial pressure of the saturated solution of this salt, such that the salt melts at this temperature in its own crystal water. The invention further relates to processes for producing the solid composition, and to a washing or cleaning product including the solid composition. In addition, the present invention also relates to the use of a washing or cleaning product of this kind for cleaning of textiles or hard surfaces, and corresponding methods of cleaning textiles or hard surfaces using a washing or cleaning product of this kind.
