PERFUME DELIVERY AGGREGATES
The present invention relates to liquid fabric care compositions obtained by a process comprising the steps of preparing an aqueous salt solution; preparing a perfume solution by mixing a perfume with an alcohol. The present invention further relates to a process of making a liquid fabric care composition and the use of a liquid fabric care composition to provide a pleasant smell to fabrics.
SOLIDIFYING LIQUID AMINE OXIDE, BETAINE, AND/OR SULTAINE SURFACTANTS WITH A CARRIER
The invention relates to solidification of liquid amine oxide, betaine, and/or sultaine surfactants with a carrier to form a solidified surfactant composition. In particular, the invention relates to solidification of liquid surfactants utilizing drying device(s), wherein the feed composition contains at least one liquid surfactant and a carrier to form a solidified surfactant composition. The solidified surfactant compositions can be useful in various cleaning compositions.
Process for the removal of contaminants from sputtering target substrates
The present invention provides a process for the removal of contaminants on a spent sputtering target used in Plasma Vapor Deposition by the steps of grit abrasion, organic solvent cleaning, and being subjected to an electric field in an acidic bath including a surfactant, and followed by subsequent water and air rinse and further grit abrasion. Removal of the contaminants is verified by spectroscopy.
FABRIC TREATMENT METHOD FOR STAIN RELEASE
A fabric treatment composition is provided that includes at least one zeta potential modifier, a fluoropolymer and a hydrophobic agent with a melting point or glass transition temperature below 100 C., for imparting fabric protection benefits to a fabric, such as improved stain and soil resistance, oil repellency, water repellency, softness, wrinkle and damage resistance, and better hand feel. Fabric treatment compositions can be used as a pretreatment prior to washing, through soaking, or added to the treatment liquor, that is either the wash or rinse cycle of an automatic washing machine, to first provide and then maintain and refresh the fabric protection benefits imparted to the fabric, with the proviso that an intermediate rinsing step essentially devoid of added surfactant-is used after the washing cycle and prior to the fabric treatment step. Following use of a first treatment composition, protective benefits are maintained and refreshed by means of a second treatment operation employing a second treatment composition. The second treatment composition may have lower active levels of the protective agents to provide for economical and periodic maintenance of the imparted fabric protection benefits.
Method of minimizing enzyme based aerosol mist using a pressure spray system
Disclosed herein are methods for improving safety and delivery of commercial application of cleaning compositions that include enzymes and other protein irritants. The methods reduce the mist and aerosolization of proteins so that inhalation and exposure to the same are reduced. According to the invention, when commercial pressurized sprayers are used to apply protein containing use cleaning compositions of up to 5 ppm protein, aerosolization is decreased to below 60 ng active protein per meter cubed. Applicants have also identified a specific metering tip/nozzle, dispense rate, and low pressure application of not more than 100 psi are critical to achieving the benefits of the invention.
Bubble enhanced cleaning method and chemistry
A method of cleaning equipment such as heat exchangers, evaporators, tanks and other industrial equipment using clean-in-place procedures comprising applying a pre-treatment solution prior to the application of an override use solution. A gas generating use solution is present in either the pretreatment or the override use solution. The gas generating use solution is capable of releasing gas on and in a soil, resulting in a soil disruption effect and enhanced cleaning.
Pre-treatment and cleaning of equipment used with uncured cementitious materials
A composition for pretreating surfaces of equipment for use with an uncured cementitious material, such as uncured concrete, and/or for cleaning cured cementitious material from the surfaces of such equipment includes an aqueous solution with colloidal silica. Pretreatment of a surface with such an aqueous solution may reduce or eliminate adhesion of uncured cementitious material to the surface. Cured cementitious material may be removed from equipment surfaces by wetting the cured cementitious material with the aqueous solution to chemically soften the cured cementitious material, along with abrading the cured cementitious material to mechanically remove the same from the equipment surfaces. Systems for removing cured cementitious material from the surfaces of equipment configured to use with uncured cementitious material include an abrasive element and an aqueous solution with colloidal silica.
Cleaning Compositions with pH Indicators and Methods of Use
The present invention provides acidic or basic cleaning compositions for use in cleaning food and beverage industry processing equipment and pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry processing equipment wherein the compositions of the invention comprise a food-equipment-safe acidic or basic cleaning compound and a food-equipment-safe colorimetric indicator of pH to show the desired acid or basic conditions during storage prior to the start of a cleaning cycle and after storage and during a cleaning cycle. The cleaning compositions of the invention are particularly useful in, for example, CIP cleaning processes.
Dishwashing Machine Cleaning Composition
The present invention relates to a dishwashing machine cleaning composition for cleaning one or more components of a dishwashing machine comprising an enzyme system comprising at least one cellulase, and at least one amylase; wherein the composition has a pH of between 4 and 6, and wherein the composition is substantially free of any pectinase. The invention also relates to a method for cleaning one or more components of a dishwashing machine, such as the filter. The invention further relates to a use of the dishwashing machine cleaning composition for cleaning one or more components of a dishwashing machine, preferably the filter.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING A SHEET OF LAUNDRY DETERGENT
A system, method, and composition for manufacturing sheets of laundry detergent includes purifying water through a purifier that is installed on a tap and collecting the water in a first production tank; preparing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) in a second production tank; cooling the PVA and then transferring the PVA to a third production tank to prepare the composition for a mixture, then the mixture passes in a fourth production tank which is a mixer to complete the process; pouring a ready dough directly into the mixer where the ready dough is mixed worked until the production process is complete to obtain a mixture; receiving the mixture; pouring the mixture onto a hot belt to create a single flow of detergent that is cooked as the detergent progresses toward an end of a roller; and passing the detergent to a cutting bench where the sheets of laundry detergent are produced.
