SYSTEM FOR RECIRCULATING WARM AIR
A recirculating warm air system configured to connect to an air inflatable product is provided. The system includes a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber includes a first air inlet and a first valve located at the first air inlet. The second chamber includes a second valve located between the first chamber and the second chamber, an air outlet, and a first hose connected to the air outlet. The second chamber further includes an air blower and a heater located between the air blower and the air outlet. The second chamber includes a second air inlet, a third valve located at the second air inlet, and a second hose connected to the second air inlet. The first hose and the second hose are configured to connect to the air inflatable product. The system further includes a processing unit configured to control elements of the system.
BED CONNECTION INTERFACE
Disclosed herein is an air duct system that can be easily, quickly, and securely installed and removed from modular air controllers at bed systems. The bed can include a mattress, foundation, air duct hose, hose retainer, and attachment plate. The foundation can support the mattress on a first foundation side and can define a foundation aperture extending between the first foundation side and a second foundation side. The air duct hose can at least partially extend through the mattress and have a first end exposed outside the mattress. The hose retainer can attach to the first end of the air duct hose. The attachment plate can mount at the first foundation side of the foundation and define a plate opening aligned with the foundation aperture. The hose retainer at the first end of the air duct hose can be removably coupled to the attachment plate at the first foundation side.
BED MICROCLIMATE CONTROL USING HUMIDITY MEASUREMENTS
Bed tools, systems, and methods are provided to control a microclimate (e.g., temperature, humidity, etc.) at a bed top to provide desired comfort and quality sleep experience. A bed system can include a bed microclimate control subsystem configured to obtain microclimate humidity and to set or adjust operating characteristics (e.g., temperature setpoint) based at least in part on the obtained humidity.
System for enhancing sleep recovery and promoting weight loss
The present invention provides systems, methods, and articles for stress reduction and sleep promotion. A stress reduction and sleep promotion system includes at least one remote device, at least one body sensor, and at least one remote server. In other embodiments, the stress reduction and sleep promotion system includes machine learning.
Bed
A bed includes a mattress set on which a user's body is placed, an adjustable bedframe to adjust a position or orientation of the mattress set for various sitting and sleeping positions, and a dryer to dry the mattress set. The dryer includes a fan, a filter, and a heater to discharge filtered hot air toward the dryer to reduce mildew and mites. A humidity sensing sheet may be provided to sense a humidity level at different regions or areas of the bed, and the dryer may be controlled to supply hot air to regions of the bed having a higher humidity level than a predetermined humidity level or humidity range.
SHAPED BODY WITH A HEATING ELEMENT MADE TO HEAT POLYURETHANE FOAM
A shaped body including at least one section of a polyurethane foam. The shaped body includes a temperature-regulating device arranged in thermal contact with the at least one section of the polyurethane foam and a control device for the temperature-regulating device adapted to adjust the firmness of the at least one section of the polyurethane foam by alteration of temperature of the at least one section of the polyurethane foam this device being in “S” shape. The shaped body is used as a bed or mattress for promoting sleep in one application.
AIR MATTRESS WITH FEATURES FOR DETERMINING AMBIENT TEMPURATURE
Bladder pressure readings of bladder pressure inside an air bladder of a mattress are received for a particular time. Barometric pressure readings of barometric pressure in an ambient environment outside the mattress are received for the particular time. The bladder pressure and the barometric pressure readings are used as input to an ambient temperature classifier. Output from the ambient temperature classifier is received as an ambient temperature value for the particular time
Mattress Thermal Management System
The disclosure generally relates to a mattress thermal management system, for example a mattress cooling and/or heating system and in particular incorporating an airflow spacer and/or a suction- and/or discharge-based cooling and/or heating system. Deck-mounted fans beneath a mattress operate in various embodiments to induce a uniform suction flow, a uniform discharge flow, and/or a combined suction/discharge (circulating) flow that enhances the cooling and/or heating rate of the mattress. The mattress thermal management system can be incorporated into a conventional mattress/bed system or into an adjustable bed system. Further, the mattress thermal management system including an airflow spacer can be incorporated into a cover for a conventional mattress foundation or adjustable bed foundation. In another aspect, the disclosure relates to a remote control that controls an adjustable bed and is configured with a children's safety lock feature.
System and method for thermoelectric personal comfort controlled bedding
A distribution system is adapted for use with a mattress and a personal comfort system with an air conditioning system operable for outputting a conditioned air flow. The distribution system includes at least top and bottom layers of fabric material and a spacer structure disposed between the bottom and top layers. The spacer structure defines an internal volume within the distribution layer and is configured to enable the received conditioned air flow to flow therethrough. This flow of conditioned air has a cooling or heating effect on a body on the mattress.
A VENTILATION OR HEATING/COOLING ELEMENT AND A VENTILATION OR HEATING/COOLING CLOTHING ITEM
A ventilating or heating/cooling element having a first side having an air permeability of 15-800 m.sup.3/m.sup.2/h at 120 Pa. The first side is for directing an air flow toward a person. The ventilating/cooling/heating element may form or form part of a mattress, a duvet/blanket, a pillow, a sleeping bag, a seat, a clothes item or the like. A pump may be provided for providing air into the ventilating/cooling/heating element, or one or more openings may be provided for receiving air when a person is moving, such as when riding a motor cycle.
