SPRING CORE
The present invention concerns a spring core (1, la, 12, 13, 17, 18) that may be used in e.g. bed mattresses, chairs or sofas. The spring core (1, 1a, 12, 13, 17, 18) comprises springs placed inside pocket (3). The pockets (3) are placed in a number of rows, which rows of pockets (3) are placed side by side. The spring core (1, 1a, 12, 13, 17, 18) is held in a compressed state by means of at least one cord (5). The at least one cord (5) is formed into braids (6) at opposite outer ends (7) of each row of pockets (3). Further, the at least one cord (4) forms a number of loops (8) on at least one side of each row of pockets (3). By pulling at one free end (10) of the at least one cord (5) the braids (6) and loops (8) are dissolved, allowing the spring core (1) to return to the non-compressed state.
BEDDING SYSTEM
A bedding system includes a base. A pressure generator is coupled to the base. A spacer is positioned over the base. A coil pack is positioned over the spacer. The coil pack is positioned within a recess of an encasement. A duct includes a first end that is in communication with the pressure generator and a second end that is in communication with the recess. A comfort layer is positioned over the encasement. A cover is positioned over the comfort layer.
HIGH TENSION COIL SPRING STRUCTURE FOR BED MATTRESS HAVING MEANS FOR PREVENTING FRICTION NOISE
A high tension coil spring structure for a bed mattress includes spring bodies and exposed wiring portions which absorb an external load. Diameter-increasing portions (A) are formed on at least one of upper and/or lower end wiring portions (14, 14) of body wiring portions (12), and provide spaces in which upper and/or lower exposure start wiring portions (16-5, 16-5) move upward and downward. Rigid support ends (18) are formed on at least one of the body wiring portions (12) and upper and lower exposed wiring portions (16, 16), and absorb a compressive load. The diameter-increasing portions and the rigid ends of the coil spring structure fundamentally prevent noise caused by friction between the exposed wiring portions and surrounding wiring portions when the exposed wiring portions are compressed and significantly increase the elasticity of the exposed wiring portions.
Element of adjustable stiffness for beds or seats
The invention relates to the field of beds or seats. In particular, the invention relates to a flexible element (10) stiffness that is adjustable stiffness along a compression axis (Z), the element including a compression spring (50). In order to enable the stiffness of the stiffness element (10) to be adjusted, it further comprises both a mechanism (150) coupled to the compression spring (50) so as to be actuated by compression of the compression spring (50) along the compression axis (Z) to move in a direction other than the direction of the compression axis (Z), and also an adjustment device for selectively restricting or releasing the movement of the mechanism (150). The invention also provides a unit (200) comprising a plurality of such flexible elements (10), and a method of adjusting the stiffness of the flexible element (10).
Height-Adjustable Supple Member
The invention relates to a height-adjustable supple member for lying and/or sitting furniture, including one or more adjustable springs and a rotary part. Each adjustable spring is configured to change in height along a central axis under the effect of a radial stress relative to the central axis. The rotary part includes one or more rails each extending over an angular sector about the central axis, in a plane perpendicular to the central axis, from a first end to a second end more distant from the central axis than the first end. Each rail cooperates, in the radial direction relative to the central axis, with a corresponding adjustable spring among the one or more adjustable. The rotary part is able to rotate, about the central axis, so as to exert, through each rail, said radial stress on the corresponding adjustable spring.
SUPPLE MEMBER WITH ADJUSTABLE STIFFNESS FOR LYING AND/OR SITTING FURNITURE
The invention relates to a supple member with adjustable stiffness for lying and/or sitting furniture. This member includes one or more adjustable helical springs and a rotary part. The rotary part includes a hub able to rotate about the central axis and one or more elastically flexible fingers. Each finger extends from a first end secured to the hub of the rotary part, over an arc of circle about the central axis, to a second end, and cooperates with a corresponding end of one or more of the adjustable helical springs.
Cushions including flat springs
Cushions include a chassis core having a rigid or semi-rigid base sheet; and a plurality of paired flat springs coupled to the rigid or semi-rigid base sheet, wherein each paired flat spring comprises a lower flat spring including a first terminal end, a second terminal end, and a flexible arcuate member extending from the first terminal end to the second terminal end, and an upper flat spring including a first terminal end, a second terminal end, and a flexible arcuate member extending from the first terminal end to the second terminal end, wherein the first and second terminal ends of the upper flat spring are fixedly attached to respective first and second terminal ends of the lower flat spring such that the upper flat spring is inverted relative to the lower flat spring. Also disclosed are processes for manufacturing the core chassis.
Mattress arrangement, such as a bed, having adjustable firmness
A mattress arrangement, such as a bed arrangement (1), having adjustable firmness is disclosed. The mattress arrangement comprises an upper mattress (3) and a lower mattress (4) being arranged beneath said upper mattress (3). At least one side (41) of the lower mattress (4) is moveable in relation to an opposite side (42) of the lower mattress (4), the lower mattress (4) thereby being expandable into an expanded state, having a lower firmness, and compressible into a contracted state, having a higher firmness. A support layer (6) is arranged between the upper mattress (3) and the lower mattress (4), to partly support the upper mattress (3), and arranged overlying the at least one moveable side (41) of the lower mattress (4). Hereby, at least one compartment is formed beneath the upper mattress (3), wherein the compartment(s) is at least partly empty when the lower mattress (4) is in the contracted state and at least partly filled when the lower mattress (4) is in the expanded state.
Spring bed with quick assembly and disassembly
A spring bed with quick assembly and disassembly includes two cross bars, a plurality of vertical bars, a plurality of springs, and a plurality of fixing bases. The two cross bars and the vertical bars are parallel arranged with spacing. The two ends of the vertical bars are detachably assembled to the two cross bars. Each vertical bar is disposed with a plurality of fixing bases. The springs are detachably assembled to the fixing bases. Two ends of the vertical bar are detachably connected to the two cross bars.
