PRESSURE VALVE FOR FERMENTER
A pressure valve includes a housing having bottom portion defining a bottom opening configured to be in communication with a vessel and a sidewall defining an internal cavity. The housing includes a vent aperture configured to provide fluid communication between the internal cavity and ambient air surrounding the pressure valve and an accessory aperture configured to couple an accessory to the housing. A seal seat is positioned within the internal cavity fluidly between the vent aperture and the bottom opening. A pressure control assembly is coupled to the housing. The pressure control assembly breaks a sealing engagement with the seal seat to provide fluid communication between the vessel and the vent aperture in response to a desired positive pressure being reached within the vessel or in response to a negative pressure being reached in the vessel. The accessory aperture is positioned between the bottom opening and the seal seat.
BEVERAGE MAKING APPARATUS
An apparatus includes a fermentation tank assembly including a fermentation tank having an opening formed therein and a fermentation tank cover configured to open and close the opening. The apparatus also includes an ingredient receiving portion configured to receive, through the opening of the fermentation tank, fermentation ingredients; a gas extraction flow path connected to the fermentation tank; a gas release valve disposed in the gas extraction flow path and configured to discharge gas from the fermentation tank; and a pressure sensor disposed on at least one of the gas extraction flow path or the fermentation tank cover.
Fermentation Vessel
An economical, durable, possible multi-use fermentation vessel formed of a base supporting a sidewall made with a first material and a top made with a more durable second material. The base may be formed of a durable material and downwardly sloping towards a drain to facilitate cleaning. Sensors in communication with a computer system may sense one or more physical properties of the liquid within the vessel, and the computer system may modulate fermentation properties such as temperature, pressure and pH within the vessel as needed to optimize the fermentation process. The vessel may be used as a stand-alone foeder vessel, whirlpool vessel or kettle sour vessel or be used as a multi-use combination of two or more of these vessels.
BEVERAGE-MAKING APPARATUS
A beverage making apparatus includes a fermentation tank assembly including a fermentation tank having an opening formed therein, a fermentation tank cover covering the opening, and a heat exchange element arranged in contact with the fermentation tank. The beverage making apparatus also includes a first channel including a first end that is connected to the fermentation tank assembly; and a second end connected to: a second channel connected to a water tank, and a third channel connected to a dispenser of the beverage making apparatus.
Decompression mechanism and beverage maker having decompression mechanism
A decompression mechanism may include a decompression case having an inlet that receives a beverage and an outlet that discharges the beverage; a decompression inner member including an inner body positioned inside of the decompression case and a guide formed in a spiral shape on an outer circumference of the inner body and in contact with an inner face of the decompression case; and a decompression channel defined between the decompression case and the decompression inner member. The decompression channel may have an input opening in communication with the inlet and an output opening in communication with the outlet, and a cross-sectional area of the decompression channel may increase as the decompression channel extends from the input opening to the output opening.
Pressure valve for fermenter
A pressure valve is configured to be selectively coupled to a vessel and includes a housing including a vent aperture configured to provide fluid communication between an internal cavity of the housing and ambient air surrounding the pressure valve, an accessory aperture configured to couple an accessory to the housing, and a seal seat positioned within the internal cavity fluidly between the vent aperture and the accessory aperture. The pressure valve includes a pressure control assembly including a seal configured to break a sealing engagement with the seal seat to provide fluid communication between the vessel and the vent aperture in response to a desired positive pressure being reached within the vessel. The seal is configured to break the sealing engagement with the seal seat to provide fluid communication between the vessel and the vent aperture in response to an operator moving an actuator of the pressure control assembly.
FERMENTATION COOLING SYSTEM
A fermentation system having a vessel defining a chamber for holding liquids and including a lower aperture. An insulating jacket is disposed around the vessel. A cooling fluid is disposed between the insulating jacket and the vessel. The cooling fluid is in fluid communication with a fluid pump. A refrigerant line is wrapped around the vessel and is configured to cool the fluid and the vessel, resulting in cooling of liquids disposed in the chamber. A beverage line operably couples the lower aperture with a dispensing spigot. The beverage line is wrapped around the vessel and is at least partially submerged in the fluid. A sediment drain line is disposed below the lower aperture and configured to drain sediment that accumulates on a bottom of the vessel.
BEVERAGE MAKER
Provided is a beverage maker. The beverage maker includes a pair of fermenters, each of which has an internal space, a pair of fermenter lids configured to shield the internal spaces of the pair of fermenters, a pair of beverage containers that are selectively accommodated in the internal spaces of the pair of fermenters, a temperature regulator configured to independently regulate internal temperatures of the pair of fermenters, ingredient feeders in which ingredient containers configured to contain beverages are selectively mounted and which are disposed outside the pair of fermenters, respectively, a main channel via each of the ingredient feeders, a pair of branch channels branched from the main channel and respectively connected to the pair of beverage containers, and a beverage dispenser connected to the pair of branch channels.
BEVERAGE MAKER
A beverage maker includes a fermentation tank in which an internal space for fermentation is formed, a temperature controller configured to control a temperature of the fermentation tank and including an evaporator and a heater, and an insulation portion surrounding a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the fermentation tank. The fermentation tank may include a first chamber, in which the evaporator is disposed, and a second chamber configured to be in contact with the heater and coupled to the first chamber, and the insulation portion may be located between the first chamber and the evaporator.
