Open coil spring assemblies
Present embodiments provide various open coil spring assemblies which perform like an encased spring assembly. The embodiments have elastic lacings or connections which connect springs to springs or springs to lacings. Various spring embodiments are provided as well as various arrangements for the elastic lacings. All of these features improve compliance and stability while reducing motion transfer.
Clip assembly for use holding sinuous springs
A piece of furniture includes a rectangular frame for supporting a plurality of sinuous springs. A plurality of clip assemblies are secured to opposed side walls of the frame. Each clip assembly comprises a metallic clip having tabs for holding a plastic liner inside a curved portion of the clip assembly. Each clip assembly also has a detent which inhibits movement of the sinuous spring and has tacks for insertion into the frame. Flexible connectors may be located in grooves of the clip assembly to collate multiple clip assemblies.
SIMULATED PLATFORM BED SYSTEM
A simulated platform bed system is used with a bed having a mattress and a mattress support, typically provided as a box spring and frame supporting the mattress by a spacing above a floor surface. The system includes an exterior aspect with a decorative feature, as well as a base typically defining a single, continuous piece extending along the side edges and the foot end edge of the bed. At least a portion of the base is made of a plurality of vertically-oriented slats connected together. The slats may be located at corner portions or along an entire length of the system. The system covers the spacing to create the appearance of a platform bed upon which the mattress appears to be supported, even though the weight support of the mattress is through the mattress support rather than the system.
SPRING MODULE AND SPRING CUSHION FOR FURNITURE
The present disclosure provides a spring module for a spring cushion of furniture and a spring cushion having the same, the spring module may comprise a spring and a spring bracket for accommodating the spring, and the spring bracket may comprise a base, an end cover and a flexible connecting part connected therebetween, the spring may be fixed in the spring bracket with a predetermined initial pressure. The present disclosure further relates to a spring cushion having the spring modules.
MATTRESS ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A mattress assembly includes a chassis having top and bottom walls and first and second sidewalls that each extend from the top wall to the bottom wall. Inner surfaces of the walls and the sidewalls define an interior cavity. The top and bottom walls each include a first section that is connected to the first sidewall and a second section that is connected to the second sidewall such that the first sections are pivotable relative to the first sidewall and the second sections are pivotable relative to the second sidewall. The first section of the top wall is pivotable relative to the second section of the top wall and the first section of the bottom wall is pivotable relative to the second section of the bottom wall. A spring assembly is configured to be positioned within the interior cavity.

Elastic pad, elastic pad assembling method and furniture
The present disclosure relates to the field of elastic pads and discloses an elastic pad, an assembling method thereof and a furniture. An elastic pad includes a first elastic module mounting part, a plurality of first elastic modules disposed on the first elastic module mounting part in a predetermined arrangement, and a pad layer on the plurality of first elastic modules. An outer edge of the pad layer and an outer edge of the first elastic module mounting part are connected via a releasable first connection structure, leaving the sides of the elastic pad open or uncovered. The elastic pad has fewer components, a simple structure, lower cost, and improved comfort. Since the first connection structure is releasable, the pad layer can be disassembled, which facilitates assembling and transportation of the elastic pad and reduces required storage space.

Protective Helmet
A protective member such as a helmet includes an outer layer and an inner layer interconnected by multiple connectors, such as extension springs, under tension along their longitudinal axis. The connectors absorb energy from an impact force by resisting further tension along their longitudinal axis and allow the outer layer and inner layer to move relative to each other. In the helmet application, the head of a user experiences less impact force, reduced change in momentum or position of the head and neck, reduced head and neck loads and reduced amounts of linear and rotational acceleration. The protective member can be used in numerous applications and environments, including for participants in sports, in applications including bumpers, passenger cabins, car seats and beds.
