LAKE RESTORATION SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES
Systems and methods of restoring a lake including dredging, island creation, water treatment, real estate development, computer modeling of environmental conditions, wave height reduction, sediment removal and encapsulation, bathymetry contouring, littoral zone restoration, plant restoration, and/or fish restoration.
GARDEN SEED PLANTER
A garden seed planter that displays a color for identifying the type of garden product that will be produced by a plant from a seed contained in a starch capsule of the garden seed planter. In a preferred lollipop form embodiment at least a portion of the garden seed planter starch capsule has a colored coating that is substantially the same color as the garden product produced by the plant to be grown from the seed, and there is a planter stake attached to the seed capsule having a portion that also displays substantially the same color as the garden product.
ELEMENT FOR CULTIVATING AT LEAST ONE PLANT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE ELEMENT
The element is intended to be placed in a receptacle for the cultivation of at least one plant, and includes:
a substantially solid body including a substrate adapted to enable said plant to develop;
at least one seed of said plant disposed on the body in at least one seed receiving area;
a layer for holding the seed(s) in said receiving area, comprising a dried mineral powder.
The holding layer results from drying a deposition of a holding composition including a mineral powder suspended in water.
Seed tape, seed tape system and greening or planting system
A seed tape has seeds embedded at a spacing distance from one another in a tubular sleeve. There is provided a seed tape, a seed tape system, and a greening or planting system, which can be provided easily, which are environmentally friendly and with which various objects can be greened easily, efficiently and durably. The novel seed tape has a tubular sleeve which is a textile tube, which encloses the seeds in a stretched manner before and/or during the germination of the seeds and is unstretched between the seed positions. The seeds embedded in the textile tube are embedded in at least one substrate and/or are in contact with at least one substrate. The substrate is or includes potting soil and/or the substrate is formed of at least one fibrous and/or foamed organic or mineral material.
METHOD FOR APPLICATION OF BIOCHAR IN TURF GRASS AND LANDSCAPING ENVIRONMENTS
The present invention relates to a method for applying biochar to turf and landscape to allow the turf and landscape to be effectively maintained under reduced water and/or reduced fertilizer applications.
Agricultural systems and methods
An agricultural system includes a container containing a medium and a plant source. The medium may be a binder, and the container may further contain an additive bound to the binder. The medium may be pollen. The container may be any of closed, at least partially water permeable, at least partly biodegradable, or combinations thereof. The container can include an indicium that is perceptible from an exterior of the container.
