A liquid collection device is provided. The device includes an input conduit, an output conduit, a plurality of product collection containers, and a valve block. The input and output conduits are connectable to a liquid processing line. The valve block has a valve block input in fluid communication with the input conduit, a valve block output in fluid communication with the output conduit, and a plurality of valves. The valves correspond in number to product collection containers and each valve places the input conduit in liquid communication with a different one of the product collection containers. An automated liquid collection workstation for use with the liquid collection device and a method of automatically collecting liquid from a processing line or vessel are also provided.

OBJECT MOVING DEVICE

An object moving device includes: a first drive mechanism configured to move a head unit in a first direction and in a second direction; a second drive mechanism configured to move an illumination unit in the first direction; and a third drive mechanism configured to move a camera unit in the first direction. A control unit controls the first drive mechanism to move the head unit on a first path. The control unit controls the second and third drive mechanisms to move the illumination unit and the camera unit on the first path between the first container and the second container. When the head unit and the illumination unit interfere with each other on the first path, the control unit implements control such that the head unit moves in the second direction and the head units moves in the first direction on a second path parallel to the first path.

An apparatus 1 for producing a cell mass sheet is structured so as to produce a cell mass sheet 4 in which a plurality of cell masses 2 that have been planarly arranged on a mounting surface 13a in a culture container 3 are fused to each other by being cultured.

The apparatus includes guide means G that has a plurality of accommodating portions Ga which can accommodate the cell masses 2 therein, and suction nozzles 8 (supply means) that supply the cell masses 2 into the accommodating portions Ga of the guide means G, which are arranged on the mounting surface 13a; and is structured so that the suction nozzles 8 array the cell masses 2 on the mounting surface 13a, and after that, the guide means G retracts from the above the mounting surface 13a.

The apparatus can produce a cell mass sheet that has a constant shape and also a uniform thickness.

SAMPLE EXTRACTION DEVICE

The present disclosure provides a sample extraction device, which includes a plurality of chambers arranged on a pedestal. The chamber includes a plurality of first chambers and two mixing chambers. The pedestal is internally provided with a first passage for communicating the two mixing chambers, and a sample extraction chamber is arranged in the first passage. The pedestal is further internally provided with a second passage for transfer and export of a liquid, and connection or disconnection between the two mixing chambers and the second passage is controlled by a valve. Sample extraction processes of the above technical solutions are carried out in a fully enclosed device, avoiding contamination of samples and extraction reagents by external environments, and avoiding environmental contamination caused by aerosols generated during the sample extraction processes. The sample extraction device is particularly suitable for extraction of highly pathogenic samples.
