Described embodiments include a culture incubator, method, and sensor circuit. A culture incubator includes an accessible incubation compartment configured to contain a culture item at a specified incubation temperature; a phase change material having a phase transition temperature over the specified incubation temperature; and a heat transfer element in thermal communication with the phase change material and configured to transfer heat to the phase change material. A sensor circuit is configured to acquire data indicative of a phase composition state of the phase change material. A manager circuit is configured to determine a difference between the phase composition state and a target phase composition state for the phase change material. A controller circuit is configured to transfer heat to the phase change material in an amount estimated to change the phase composition state of the phase change material to the target phase composition state.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR LEVELING SHELVES IN A LABORATORY CLIMATIC CABINET
A shelf support for leveling a shelf of a laboratory climatic cabinet is provided. The shelf support includes a shelf support body configured to be secured to a wall of the laboratory climatic cabinet and to support the shelf and at least one shelf leveling mechanism associated with the shelf support body. When the shelf is supported by the shelf support, the at least one shelf leveling mechanism is configured to adjust a distance between the shelf and a floor of the laboratory climatic cabinet. A laboratory climatic cabinet is provided and includes a shelf support, which includes a shelf support body configured to support the shelf and a shelf leveling mechanism, secured to a first wall of the cabinet. When a shelf is supported by the shelf support, the shelf leveling mechanism is configured to adjust a distance between the shelf and a floor of the cabinet.

This incubator shaker (1) can be used for a further disclosed method for decontaminating the incubator shaker (1), including the steps of placing the ozone distributing device (100) into the incubation chamber (10), guiding ozone into the incubation chamber (10), and conveying the ozone inside the incubation chamber (10) including a space underneath the shaking table (21).

An incubator for cell and tissue culture under controlled atmospheric conditions has a primary air flow control device that forms a primary, preferably laminar flow, air veil across an opening that allows access to the cells or tissue cultures disposed within the incubator. Preferably, most if not all of the air in the primary (laminar flow) air veil is recirculated, and a secondary air flow control device is used that forms a secondary, preferably laminar flow, air veil between the primary (laminar flow) air veil and a user of the incubator.

The invention provides a skin culturing apparatus configured for biphasic culturing of mammalian skin and/or a mammalian skin substitute. The apparatus comprises a first chamber that is configured to provide a gaseous environment having a relative humidity below 90% and comprising less than 5% CO.sub.2, and a second chamber that is configured to provide tissue culture medium at a temperature of 33.0-37.5° C. and pH of 6.1-7.9. The invention also provides methods for culturing mammalian skin and/or skin substitutes, as well as methods for testing mammalian skin and/or mammalian skin substitutes cultured in the skin culturing apparatus.
