CELL CULTURE ANALYZER AND CELL CULTURE ANALYSIS METHOD USING SAME, ADDITIVE SUPPLY UNIT AND CELL CULTURE ANALYZER PROVIDED THEREWITH, AND SENSOR UNIT AND CELL CULTURE ANALYZER PROVIDED THEREWITH
A cell culture analyzer comprises a stirring member and an air discharge and intake unit. The stirring member is used in a state of being immersed in a medium, and has a liquid discharge and intake port for discharging or drawing in the medium, and an air discharge and intake port for discharging or drawing in air in order to discharge or draw in the medium from the liquid discharge and intake port. The air discharge and intake unit is linked to the air discharge and intake port of the stirring member, and discharges or draws in the air discharged or drawn in from the air discharge and intake port.
Adjustable Plate Holder for Cell Cultures
Disclosed is a device for angling a multi-well plate during shaking on a typical low speed laboratory incubator-shaker to facilitate cell growth. An assembly with a holder for a deep-well multi-well plate to attach it to a base has an adjustable-angle joint. The base is attached to a conventional incubator shaker tray via screws or a sticky pad. The adjustable-angle joint allows maintaining the desired angle of the plate, even at full shaking speed.
Process for providing a culture of microorganisms to an elongated element
The present invention relates to a process for depositing at least a culture of microorganisms to an elongated element, preferably a yarn, comprising the steps of: providing at least a first feeding device comprising at least a first outlet; supplying at least one elongated element to said at least first feeding device; feeding to said first outlet at least a first culture comprising at least one microorganism; dispensing said first culture from said at least first outlet; contacting at least part of said elongated element with said first culture of microorganisms, to provide at least a part of said elongated element with an amount of said first culture of microorganisms.
FULLY ENCLOSED CELL CULTURE SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a fully enclosed cell culture system, including at least an incubator, a bioreactor, a gas flow assembly, a liquid flow assembly, a temperature adjustment assembly, and a central controller. The system realizes a thermostatic incubation environment. Cells are incubated by perfusion, and a fully enclosed integrated process from cell activation, infection and amplification to finished product harvesting is achieved. By axially stirring the cells and an incubation liquid in a tank body, a radial shear force is reduced, which effectively protects the cells and improves the cell yield. In the system of the present disclosure, gases are separately introduced, ensuring that the content of each gas component is stable in the incubation process. The cell incubation is not directly affected by changes of outside gases in the cell incubation process, which improves culture efficiency.
SCALING TISSUE PRODUCTION THROUGH IMPROVED CONTROL OF MASS TRANSFER
A method of forming a tissue. The method includes providing a source of a pre-tissue composition comprising endothelial cells. The method also includes perfusing a culture media into the pre-tissue composition using a plurality of primary channels and a plurality of secondary channels to form the tissue, wherein the endothelial cells are configured to form the secondary channels via vasculogenesis.
INCUBATOR FOR ENRICHMENT DURING TRANSPORT
Provided are sealable transport incubators for uniform incubation of sample specimens (e.g., microbial samples) during transport between two locations (e.g., microbial sampling and detection locations, the incubators comprising a multi-slot thermal-transfer divider each in uniform thermal communication with a heat source (e.g., electrical or phase change materials (PCM), and configured to provide for uniform heat transfer and distribution to the sample specimen during transport in the transport incubator. Additionally provided are methods for expediting provision of microbial assay detection results (e.g., using the disclosed sealable transport incubators).
PORTABLE INCUBATOR PLATFORM INTEGRATED INTO A PORTABLE IMAGING DEVICE
A portable incubator system integrated to a mobile phone providing a real-time tracking of samples and data flow is provided. The portable incubator system allowing cells to be cultured, reproduced and characterized in real-time without a need for a commercial incubator and a microscope-camera system installed within the portable incubator system.
ILLUMINATION SYSTEM, AN IMAGING SYSTEM, AND A METHOD FOR ILLUMINATION OF A SAMPLE IN A CONTAINER
According to an aspect there is provided an illumination system for illumination of a sample in a container, such as a well of a microplate or a petri dish, the container comprising a bottom surface and side walls which together define a volume for receiving the sample, the illumination system comprising: at least one light source; a mask comprising an opaque portion, preventing light from passing through the mask, and an at least partially transparent portion, allowing light to pass through the mask; wherein the illumination system is adapted to be positioned such that the light generated by the light source, passing through the mask, illuminates the sample in the container; and wherein the light source and the mask are configured such that a shape, a size, and a position of a projection of the light passing through the mask, onto a plane of the bottom surface, match a shape, a size, and a position of the bottom surface.
INCUBATOR
An incubator includes: a housing which is divided into a thermostatic chamber and an air-conditioning chamber and allows first air to circulate between the thermostatic chamber and the air-conditioning chamber; and an air conditioner that regulates a temperature of the first air in the air-conditioning chamber. A channel through which the first air flows is formed in the air-conditioning chamber. The air conditioner includes: a supply unit having a supply port for supplying second air colder than the first air to the channel; an upstream fan which is arranged upstream of the supply port and allows the first air in the thermostatic chamber to flow into the channel; and a downstream fan which is arranged downstream of the supply port, mixes the second air with the first air, and allows the first air mixed with the second air to flow from the channel into the thermostatic chamber.
Container w/ Heat Plate
A platelet incubator usable as a lid for a refrigerated container includes a heating plate and a transparent cover. The heating plate has an aluminum top plate, an aluminum middle plate with an opening into which a silicon mat heater is placed, and a 5052 aluminum alloy bottom plate, with an aperture through which the wires providing electrical energy to the silicon mat heater are placed. The temperature is continuously monitored, and a log is kept for printout, allowing the platelet incubator to meet relevant compliance requirements. An alarm is activated if the temperature of the platelets exceeds twenty-three degrees Celsius, or falls under twenty-one degrees Celsius.
