The bioreactor comprises a container including a base section comprising a sensor window chosen from a transparent sensor window or a translucent sensor window, a top section arranged opposite to the base section and comprising a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and a sidewall extending between the base section and the top section and defining an internal volume of the container adapted to hold a cell suspension. At least one optical element disposed on the sensor window within the internal volume, the at least one optical element adapted to emit a fluorescence signal in response to incident light, the fluorescence signal associated with one or more parameters of the cell suspension.
AERATION DEVICE FOR A BIOPROCESSING INSTALLATION
Various embodiments relate to an aeration device for a bioprocessing installation, in particular a bioreactor, comprising a housing, wherein the housing comprises one or more aeration channels in its interior, wherein the housing further comprises one or more gas inlet ports, via each of which a gas can be introduced into at least one aeration channel of the housing, and wherein the housing further comprises a plurality of gas outlet ports, via each of which the gas can be discharged from the respective aeration channel to the outside of the aeration device. It is proposed that the aeration device is configurable with respect to a predetermined discharge of gas via the gas outlet ports.
Bioreaction container
A bioreaction container including a culture chamber configured to contain a culture solution and a life form in an inner space, the culture chamber having an open upper end; a chamber cover portion coupled to the upper end of the culture chamber, the chamber cover portion having a protruding tube provided on one side thereof so as to communicate with the inner space; a filter cap coupled to the protruding tube in an attachable/detachable manner so as to open/close the protruding tube; a gas introduction portion configured to penetrate the chamber cover portion and to communicate with the inner space so as to supply a predetermined gas into the inner space; and an acidity/basicity adjustment portion installed on the chamber cover portion while containing an adjustment solution that adjusts pH of the culture solution such that the adjustment solution is discharged into the inner space by pneumatic pressure.
DEVICE FOR DETERMINING AND MONITORING THE PHYSIOLOGICAL STATES OF MICROBIAL CULTURES IN EACH INDIVIDUAL MICROBIOREACTOR OF A MICROTITER PLATE
A device for determining and monitoring the physiological state of microbial cultures in each individual microbioreactor of a microtiter plate, wherein a gas space of each microbioreactor of the microtiter plate is accessible via an inlet opening and outlet opening, includes means for shaking the microtiter plate and a gas supply system suitable for purging the gas space of each microbioreactor with a stream of purge gas in a purging phase. A shut-off device is arranged directly on each microbioreactor for interrupting the stream of purge gas. The flow resistances in the gas supply system and the flow resistance of each microbioreactor are configured so that the stream of purge gas in the purging phase is substantially equal in all of the microbioreactors. The device includes a measuring device configured to detect the physiological state of the microbial culture in each individual microbioreactor.
Incubator
An incubator 1 includes a cultivating chamber 4 for cultivating culture in a plurality of containers 3 and a supply device 5 provided outside the cultivating chamber 4 and supplying steam into the cultivating chamber 4 for humidification. The supply device 5 includes a supply chamber 5A in which a tray 42 for reserving water is accommodated and an ultrasonic atomizing device 43 for atomizing water. The water in the tray 42 is easily made into steam by the ultrasonic atomizing device 43, passes through an HEPA filter 45 provided in an opening portion 5B and is supplied into the circulation passage 37 of the cultivating chamber 4.
Microplate-based apparatus for measuring cell metabolism
A microplate-based apparatus for measuring cell metabolism is provided. The apparatus is capable of providing automation of all procedures, ranging from drug injection into each well of a microplate to the measurement of dissolved-oxygen (DO) concentration and hydrogen ion concentration.
Production process monitoring system and control method therefor
A production process monitoring system is used to monitor a set of production parameters in a production process of a plurality of production units that perform parallel production operation. The production units comprise at least one reference production unit and at least one distribution production unit. The reference production unit comprises a first sensor, a second sensor, and a reference control unit. The distribution production unit comprises a second sensor and a distribution controller. The first and second sensors of the reference production unit is configured to monitor a first and second parameters in the production parameters in the reference production unit and output a first and second signals corresponding to the first and second parameters. The second sensor of the distribution production unit is configured to monitor the second parameter in the distribution production unit and output a second parameter distribution signal corresponding to the second parameter.
