CELL CULTURE MEDIUM FOR EUKARYOTIC CELLS

Cell culture media are provided herein as are methods of using the media for cell culture and protein production from cells.

UTILIZATION OF FGF ACTIVATORS IN CULTURE MEDIA

The present disclosure provides, in part, a cell culture medium comprising a serum-free medium and one or more fibroblast growth factor (FGF) activators, a kit comprising the cell culture medium and instructions for use, methods of growing cells in vitro and of producing a cultured meat using the cell culture medium, and a cultured meat so produced.

FEED MEDIA

The invention provides stable feed media containing pyruvate and methods for stabilizing feed media by adding pyruvate. The invention further provides methods for producing proteins using such media and proteins produced through the use of such methods.

SERUM-FREE MEDIUM FOR FULL SUSPENSION CULTURE OF MDCK CELLS AND PREPARATION METHOD OF SERUM-FREE MEDIUM

The present invention discloses a serum-free medium for full suspension culture of MDCK cells and a preparation method of the serum-free medium. The serum-free medium for full suspension culture of the MDCK cells comprises basic metabolic nutrients, nucleotide, vitamins, inorganic salts, a shear force protective agent, a cell clustering resisting agent, a pH buffer agent, a pH indicator, an influenza virus proliferation accelerant and other additives. The preparation method of the serum-free medium for the full suspension culture of the MDCK cells comprises the following steps: 1) preparing a mixed solution: dissolving and mixing raw materials; and 2) regulating pH: regulating the pH of the mixed solution to 6.3 to 6.7, and setting a constant volume to obtain the serum-free medium for the full suspension culture of the MDCK cells. The medium supports the high-density full-suspension culture of the MDCK single cells, greatly shortens a time for educating the MDCK cells from adherent cells into the serum-free full suspension cells, and is applicable to the mass production of biological products, and particularly veterinary biological products.

METHODS FOR INCREASING MANNOSE CONTENT OF RECOMBINANT PROTEINS

The present invention relates to methods of modulating the mannose content of recombinant proteins.

METHODS FOR MODULATING THE GLYCOSYLATION PROFILE OF RECOMBINANT PROTEINS USING SUGARS

The present invention relates to the field of protein production, and in particular to methods and compositions for modulating glycosylation of recombinant proteins expressed in host cells.

COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVING CONDITION OF SKIN, CONTAINING CELL CULTURE MEDIUM, EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR AND BOVINE SERUM ALBUMIN

The present invention relates to: a cosmetic composition for improving the condition of the skin, containing, as active ingredients, a cell culture medium, an epidermal growth factor and a bovine serum albumin; a method for improving the condition of the skin by using the same; and a method for preventing or treating skin diseases. According to the present invention, the cosmetic composition can exhibit excellent wrinkle-reducing and wound-healing effects even when only a small amount of EGF is used, and thus can be useful in improving the condition of the skin or in preventing or treating skin diseases.

A method for performing a therapy in a subject includes providing a composition including a solution having a first volume and including a low pH fluid base including dextrose, and albumin, wherein the concentration of albumin in the solution is between about 10 mg/ml and about 150 mg/ml, and implanting within, near, or adjacent tissue of the subject an effective amount of the composition.

Methods of expanding embryonic stem cells in a suspension culture

A method of expanding and maintaining human embryonic stem cells (ESCs) in an undifferentiated state by culturing the ESCs in a suspension culture under culturing conditions devoid of substrate adherence is provided. Also provided are a method of deriving ESC lines in the suspension culture and methods of generating lineage-specific cells from ESCs which were expanded in the suspension culture of the present invention.
