The present disclosure aims to provide a method of efficiently manufacturing a cell mass, a cell structure, or a three-dimensional tissue body using a culturing surface coated with a temperature-responsive polymer or a temperature-responsive polymer composition. The manufacturing method of a cell mass, a cell structure, or a three-dimensional tissue body of the present disclosure includes seeding and culturing cells on a culturing surface coated with a temperature-responsive polymer or a temperature-responsive polymer composition.
Apparatuses and systems for preparing a meat product
The apparatuses described herein relate to preparation of a meat product. Apparatuses, systems comprising the apparatuses, and methods of making and use the systems and apparatuses are described herein. These are useful for controlling one or more of growth on and separation of a meat product from an enclosed substrate. The apparatuses and systems are configured to receive fluid and grow the meat product and/or separate the meat product from the substrate in a scalable manner.
Extracellular vesicle isolation method using metal
An extracellular vesicle isolation method using a metal, and a method for isolating extracellular vesicles from various samples using metal affinity are disclosed. An extracellular vesicle isolation method has the advantages of not requiring costly equipment, of being able to be applied without limits on sample quantity, and of being capable of efficiently isolating extracellular vesicles while preserving the shape or properties thereof. Moreover, the method can be combined with existing isolation methods to maximize the efficiency of extracellular vesicle isolation, and can be utilized in disease diagnosis, disease treatment, multi-omics research, and extracellular vesicle property research and the like using the isolated extracellular vesicles.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF A CELL STRUCTURE
The present disclosure aims to provide a manufacturing method of a cell structure. The manufacturing method comprises producing a coated region in which a culturing surface is coated with a temperature-responsive polymer or a temperature-responsive polymer composition, forming a droplet of a cell suspension in the coated region, and performing cell culturing in the droplet. A surface zeta potential of the coated region is 0 mV to 50 mV.
MODULAR DNA-BINDING DOMAINS AND METHODS OF USE
The present invention refers to methods for selectively recognizing a base pair in a DNA sequence by a polypeptide, to modified polypeptides which specifically recognize one or more base pairs in a DNA sequence and, to DNA which is modified so that it can be specifically recognized by a polypeptide and to uses of the polypeptide and DNA in specific DNA targeting as well as to methods of modulating expression of target genes in a cell.
Cells expressing parathyroid hormone 1 receptor and uses thereof

Also disclosed are methods of targeting the stem cells to a desired region or area within an organism. Also disclosed are methods of using the isolated stem cells for the improvement of fertility, for the promotion of hair growth, for the treatment or prevention of skin conditions, for the treatment or improvement of bone disorders, for the treatment of malignancies, and for the treatment of neurological disorders.
Proton conductive two-dimensional amorphous carbon film for gas membrane and fuel cell applications
Described is a fuel cell comprising an electrode catalyst assembly, and a two-dimensional (2D) amorphous carbon, wherein the 2D amorphous carbon has a crystallinity (C)≤0.8.
HIGHLY EFFICIENT GAS PERMEABLE DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CULTURING CELLS
This invention relates to methods and devices that improve cell culture efficiency. They include the use of gas permeable culture compartments that reduce the use of space while maintaining uniform culture conditions, and are more suitable for automated liquid handling. They include the integration of gas permeable materials into the traditional multiple shelf format to resolve the problem of non-uniform culture conditions. They include culture devices that use surfaces comprised of gas permeable, plasma charged silicone and can integrate traditional attachment surfaces, such as those comprised of traditional tissue culture treated polystyrene. They include culture devices that integrate gas permeable, liquid permeable membranes. A variety of benefits accrue, including more optimal culture conditions during scale up and more efficient use of inventory space, incubator space, and disposal space. Furthermore, labor and contamination risk are reduced.
