Single-vector type I vectors
The invention relates to the production and use of Cas-encoding sequences and vectors comprising these. Aspects of the invention provide products, vectors, delivery vehicles, uses and methods for producing Cas-encoding sequences in bacterial or archaeal cells.
Avoiding epigenetic silencing of exogenous nucleic acid in algae
The present application relates to the identification of novel DNA methyltransferases including CHG methylation in algal species. The present application relates to algal mutants permitting the expression of exogenous genes by alleviating the epigenetic mechanisms of CHG and CHH methylation of exogenous DNA and mono- and tri-methylation of lysine 9 of histone 3 (H3K9). This is achieved by mutating or attenuating the methyltransferase (MTase) genes in algae. The present application also relates to methods for efficiently expressing exogenous genes in algal species.
Tobacco plant and method for manufacturing same
The present invention provides a tobacco plant which is suitable for cultivation for harvesting leaf tobaccos. The present invention includes (i) a tobacco plant in which a mutation for suppressing the development of axillary buds is introduced and (ii) a method of producing the tobacco plant.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING CEP290-ASSOCIATED DISEASE
Compositions and methods for treatment of CEP290 related diseases are disclosed.
TREATMENT OF CHRONIC PAIN
The present invention relates to expression constructs and viral and other vectors for the treatment and/or prevention of chronic pain.
LACHNOSPIRACEAE BACTERIUM ND2006 CAS12A MUTANT GENES AND POLYPEPTIDES ENCODED BY SAME
This invention pertains to mutant Lachnospiraceae bacterium ND2006 (Lb) Cas12a nucleic acids and proteins for use in CRISPR/Cas12a endonuclease systems, and their methods of use. In particular, the invention pertains to an isolated mutant LbCas12a protein, wherein the isolated mutant LbCas12a protein is active in a CRISPR/Cas12a endonuclease system. The invention also includes isolated nucleic acids encoding mutant LbCas12a proteins, ribonucleoprotein complexes and CRISPR/Cas12a endonuclease systems having mutant LbCas12a proteins.
Compositions and Methods Comprising a TTR Guide RNA and a Polynucleotide Encoding an RNA-Guided DNA Binding Agent
Compositions and methods for editing, e.g., introducing double-stranded breaks, within the TTR gene are provided. Compositions and methods for treating subjects having amyloidosis associated with transthyretin (ATTR), are provided.
Pooled Crispr Inverse PCR Sequencing (PCIP-Seq): Simultaneous Sequencing of Viral Insertion Points and the Integrated Viral Genomes with Long Reads
The present invention relates to a method for detecting an integration pattern of a virus in a host genome. In particular, a method is provided encompassing selective cleavage of circularized DNA fragments carrying viral DNA with an RNA-guided endonuclease and at least one guide RNA or at least one pool of guide RNAs, followed by inverse PCR, in particular inverse long-range PCR, and sequencing. The invention further relates to kits for performing the method and application of the method.
METHODS FOR TARGETED CELL DEPLETION
Described herein are compositions, kits and methods for shredding the genomes of selected cell types, for example, the genomes of selected cancer cell types.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR POTENTIATING IMMUNE ACTIVITY
The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for enhancing immunity (or immune response). The compositions and methods are particularly useful for potentiating immune response of a lymphoid cell. The compositions and methods are also applicable for treating cancer and other diseases.
