Individually pocketed coil springs with cushioning pads, and pocket spring mattresses with such pocketed coil springs
An individually pocketed coil spring for use in a bedding or seating product, is disclosed, as well as pocket spring mattresses including such pocketed coil springs. The individually pocketed coil spring include: a coil spring having an upper end and a lower end; a casing forming a pocket enclosing said coil spring; and a cushioning pad located above said upper end of the coil spring. The casing provides a first compartment enclosing the coil spring, and a second compartment enclosing the cushioning pad. The first and second compartments are separated from each other.

Furniture construction with elastic or spring modules
Furniture is assembled from elastic modules enabling rapid and convenient assembly and disassembly. The elastic module has a spring, an outer covering layer, and an end member attached to an end face of the outer covering layer. A mattress includes a plurality of individual spring assemblies (145), with each spring assembly including at least one spring (134) and a spring cap (144, 150, 161, 164, 171, 184, 194, 204). Each spring cap has at least one first attachment fitting (168, 178, 174, 186, 196) and at least one second attachment fitting (169, 180, 176, 187) with each first attachment fitting engageable into or onto and removable from a second attachment fitting of an adjoining spring cap. The spring assemblies are attached to each other via the first and second attachment fittings, forming the individual spring assemblies into a spring core. A top pad is positioned on top of the spring core. The mattress can be quickly dis-assembled and stored in a compact space by removing the top pad and separating the spring assemblies from each other.
Pocketed spring assembly having dimensionally stabilizing substrate
A pocketed spring assembly comprises a plurality of parallel strings of individually pocketed springs. A dimensionally stabilizing substrate is secured to at least some of the strings on one of the top and bottom surfaces of the strings. A scrim sleet is secured to at least some of the strings on an opposed surface of the strings to maintain the positions of the strings. The dimensionally stabilizing substrate is laterally rigid enough to maintain length and width dimensions of the coil spring assembly. However, the dimensionally stabilizing substrate is flexible enough to allow the pocketed spring assembly to be roll packed for shipping.
MATTRESSES INCLUDING SPACER FABRIC AND RELATED METHODS
A mattress assembly includes a base core layer and an inner core located over the base core layer. The inner core includes coil springs. The mattress assembly also includes a side panel assembly located around a perimeter of the inner core. The side panel assembly includes a spacer fabric located over and transverse to the base core layer. The spacer fabric includes a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and an inner fibrous material located therebetween. Methods of forming the mattress assembly are disclosed.
FURNITURE CONSTRUCTION WITH ELASTIC OR SPRING MODULES

The elastic module has a spring, an outer covering layer, and an end member attached to an end face of the outer covering layer. The spring assemblies are attached to each other via the first and second attachment fittings, forming the individual spring assemblies into a spring core. A top pad is positioned on top of the spring core.
FOLDABLE TENSION SPRING MATTRESS
A foldable tension spring mattress, wherein a vertical pressure is converted into a tension by means of a wrapping blanket; the tension acts on the periphery of a spring net and is converted into a pulling force acting on coil springs and penetrating springs; and then the pulling force is uniformly dispersed to each of the coil springs, so that the local overstressing of the coil springs and the penetrating springs is avoided, thereby preventing the spring net and the penetrating springs from being arched and sunken. As a result, the mattress may keep good elasticity all the time, which further increases the comfort level of the spring mattress. The present solution may alleviate the plastic deformation of the coil springs to further increase the comfort level of the spring mattress and improve the elasticity and durability of the spring mattress.
Hollow Tubular Center Bulging Foam Spring
A hollow tubular foam spring having a plurality of radially extending holes extending from an outer surface towards a central hollow core. The tubular foam spring is arranged with wall thickness and diameter to height ratios such that center bulging is achieved under compressive loads. In an embodiment, such as in a mattress, seat, cushion or pillow, springs are arranged in an array whereby some impinge upon one another due to central bulging.
