MICRO-RNA PROFILING, COMPOSITIONS, AND METHODS OF TREATING DISEASES
Compositions and methods for treating a disease are described herein. Compositions having plant preparations, microRNAs, and one or more rate limiters are administered to a patient to promote DNA damage repair and modulate endothelial and mitochondrial function, thereby allowing for healing to occur.
RNA interference agents for GST-PI gene modulation
This invention provides compounds, compositions and methods for modulating the expression of human GST-π using RNA interference. The RNA interference molecules can be used in methods for preventing or treating diseases such as malignant tumor. Provided are a range of siRNA structures, having one or more of nucleotides being modified or chemically-modified. Advantageous structures include siRNAs with 2′-deoxy nucleotides located in the seed region, as well as other nucleotide modifications.
COMPOUNDS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED CELLULAR UPTAKE OF ANTISENSE COMPOUNDS
The present invention provides method of increasing the efficacy and potency of antisense compounds. In certain embodiments, the invention provides methods for improved cellular uptake.
METHODS FOR UPREGULATING IMMUNE RESPONSES USING COMBINATIONS OF ANTI-RGMb AND ANTI-PD-1 AGENTS
The present invention relates to methods for upregulating immune responses using combinations of anti-RGMb and anti-PD-1 agents.
COMBINATION TUMOR IMMUNOTHERAPY
Provided are methods for treating cancer using local administration of certain CpG oligonucleotides (CpG ODN) and systemic administration of a checkpoint inhibitor such as an anti-PD-1 antibody, an anti-PD-L1 antibody, and/or an anti-CTLA-4 antibody. In preferred embodiments, the CpG ODN are selected based on their propensity to induce high amounts of interferon alpha (IFN-α) and T-cell activation relative to interleukin-10 (IL-10) and B-cell activation. In certain embodiments, the methods further include pretreatment with radiotherapy, to potentiate the combination immunotherapy.
Sequence Specific and Organism Specific Antimicrobials and Related Materials and Methods
Described herein are RNA-based antisense therapeutics to target antibiotic resistant bacteria. The antisense therapeutics disclosed herein can be useful in re-sensitizing drug-resistant bacteria to antibiotics, as well as developing antibiotics that have bactericidal or bacteriostatic effects on the drug-resistant bacteria or are capable of preventing emergence of antibiotic resistance. Also described herein are methods for re-sensitizing a subject to one or more antibiotics in need thereof, methods for identifying target genes involved in adaptive antibiotic resistance in bacteria, and methods for developing antibacterial antisense therapeutics.
INHIBITION OF PRMT5 TO TREAT MTAP-DEFICIENCY-RELATED DISEASES
The invention provides novel personalized therapies, kits, transmittable forms of information and methods for use in treating patients having cancer, wherein the cancer is MTAP-deficient and/or MTA-accumulating and thus amenable to therapeutic treatment with a PRMT5 inhibitor. Kits, methods of screening for candidate PRMT5 inhibitors, and associated methods of treatment are also provided.
A DBAIT MOLECULE IN COMBINATION WITH KRAS INHIBITOR FOR THE TREATMENT OF CANCER
The present invention relates to the combination of a Dbait molecule with a KRAS inhibitor for treating cancer.
Adeno-Associated Virus Vector Delivery of Microrna-29 to Treat Muscular Dystrophy
The invention provides for recombinant AAV vectors comprising a polynucleotide sequence comprising the guide strand of miR-29c and methods of using the recombinant vectors to reduce or prevent fibrosis in subjects suffering from muscular dystrophy.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING AN ANGIOTENSINOGEN- (AGT-) ASSOCIATED DISORDER
The present invention relates to methods of inhibiting the expression of an AGT gene in a subject, as well as methods for treating subjects having an AGT-associated disorder, e.g., hypertension, using RNAi agents, e.g., double stranded RNAi agents, targeting the AGT gene. The invention also relates to methods of decreasing blood pressure levels in a subject using such RNAi agents to inhibit expression of an AGT gene.
