Bedding or seating product having topper with at least one thermally enhanced foam component
A three-layered topper fora bedding or seating product has a first piece of foam, a second piece of foam and a pocketed spring comfort layer therebetween. The pocketed spring comfort layer has individually pocketed mini coil springs. At least one of the foam pieces may be infused with metallic particles to improve thermal conductivity. Alternatively, at least one of the foam pieces may be infused with microencapsulated phase change materials to improve heat absorption. At least one of the foam pieces may have a coating to further improve thermal conductivity or heat absorption.

MATTRESSES, CUSHIONS, AND BODY-SUPPORT PADS OR MATS WITH DEFORMABLE WALLS HAVING FIBER STRANDS EMBEDDED THEREIN
Mattresses, cushions, and body-support mats or pads include a plurality of layers extending in a depth direction from a resting surface, where the resting surface is capable of supporting user(s), to a lower surface, the lower surface being opposite the resting surface. The plurality of layers include a comfort layer that forms an upper layer proximate to the resting surface, where the comfort layer includes deformable walls separated by voids and the deformable walls include a plurality of fiber strands embedded in a cushioning media.

Mattresses including spacer fabric and related methods
A mattress assembly includes a base core layer and an inner core located over the base core layer. The inner core includes coil springs. The mattress assembly also includes a side panel assembly located around a perimeter of the inner core. The side panel assembly includes a spacer fabric located over and transverse to the base core layer. The spacer fabric includes a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and an inner fibrous material located therebetween. Methods of forming the mattress assembly are disclosed.
Pocketed spring assembly including cushion pads
A pocketed spring assembly comprises a plurality of parallel strings of springs, each string joined to at least one adjacent string, each string comprising one piece of fabric folded into first and second opposed plies of fabric. Outer pockets are formed along each string by transverse seams joining the first and second plies. One pocketed spring and at least cushion pad is positioned in each outer pocket. The cushion pad may be individually pocketed. An upper end of each transverse seam may be below an upper surface of the string to partially separate adjacent outer pockets within a string.

Mattress top panel and mattress assemblies with improved airflow
Vertically lapped nonwoven material is used to provide enhanced breathability and comfort in mattresses by replacing foam material in one or more of, including all of top panel quilts, layers underneath the top panel quilts, and in side blocks which surround spring supports. The vertically lapped nonwoven may provide advantages in terms of cost, manufacturing ease, robustness in mattress design, while at the same time providing the user with a much more comfortable sleeping experience.
Mattress top panel and mattress assemblies with improved airflow
Vertically lapped nonwoven material is used without cross lapped nonwoven to provide enhanced breathability and comfort in mattresses by replacing foam material in one or more of, including all of top panel quilts, layers underneath the top panel quilts, and in side blocks which surround spring supports. The vertically lapped nonwoven may provide advantages in terms of cost, manufacturing ease, robustness in mattress design, while at the same time providing the user with a much more comfortable sleeping experience.
Hollow tubular center bulging foam spring
A hollow tubular foam spring having a plurality of radially extending holes extending from an outer surface towards a central hollow core. The tubular foam spring is arranged with wall thickness and diameter to height ratios such that center bulging is achieved under compressive loads. In an embodiment, such as in a mattress, seat, cushion or pillow, springs are arranged in an array whereby some impinge upon one another due to central bulging.
