Pocketed Spring Comfort Layer Having At Least One Foam Layer And Method Of Making Same
A pocketed spring comfort layer for a bedding or seating product has pockets characterized by the individual mini coil springs of the comfort layer being pocketed with between at least one cushion assembly and a sheet of polypropylene fabric. Each cushion assembly includes at least one foam layer. A segmented seam joins the cushion assembly and the sheet of polypropylene fabric around each of the mini coil springs of the pocketed spring comfort layer. The method of making the pocketed spring comfort layer includes compressing the mini coil springs and creating pockets with a welding horn and an anvil.
Mattress
A mattress including: a support surface to support a user; a mattress main body that constitutes the support surface; at least one pressure sensor having a flexible sheet shape to detect a pressure acting on the support surface; a support surface cover positioned with respect to the mattress main body and arranged so as to cover the support surface; and at least one positioning member provided to the support surface cover to permit a movement of the pressure sensor with respect to the support surface cover in a planar direction while limiting an amount of the movement of the pressure sensor with respect to the support surface cover in the planar direction such that the pressure sensor is positioned on the support surface by the positioning member.
MATTRESS CONVERTIBLE INTO A SOFA
A mattress that is convertible into a sofa has a first side section, a second intermediate section hingedly connected to the first side section, and a generally c-shaped third side section, hingedly connected to the second intermediate section. The first side section is foldable under the second intermediate section at the hinged connection between them, and third side section is foldable to over the second intermediate section at the hinged connection between them, to form a sofa, with the second intermediate section forming the seat of the sofa, and the C-shaped third side section forming arms and a back surrounding the seat.

SLEEPING PAD WITH DUAL COATED BOTTOM SHEET AND CENTRAL LAYER
An inflatable sleeping pad or air mattress comprises an inflatable pad having a top layer and a bottom layer. At least one middle layer is disposed parallel to the top and bottom layers, and supported between the top layer and the bottom layer by a plurality of support baffles, wherein a first plurality of support baffles is disposed between the at least one middle layer and the top layer, and a second plurality of support baffles disposed between the at least middle one layer and the bottom layer. The sleeping pad further comprises an air inlet/outlet valve disposed on at least one of the inflatable pad top or bottom layers.
FOLDABLE CLOSED CELL FOAM SLEEPING PAD
A closed cell foam sleeping pad has a foldable configuration and can be folded accordion style. The sleeping pad's top and bottom surfaces have a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of indentations, wherein the protrusions and indentations are arranged at different locations on different but adjacent foldable sections of the sleeping pad body such that when the pad is folded accordion style, the protrusions nest into the indentations perfectly to give the sleeping pad a smaller packing density while at the same time providing the protrusions for added user comfort.
Mattress for evenly gathering and dispersing human body gravity
A mattress for evenly gathering and dispersing human body gravity comprises elastic surface layer connecting cloth (1), elastic support frames (2), lateral connecting cloth (3), a filling region (4), granular fillers (5), a filler inlet/outlet (6), lower connecting cloth (7), a foot limiting belt (8), a leg limiting belt (9), hip limiting belts (10) and a back limiting belt (11) (limiting belts for short). The width of each of the limiting belts (8, 9, 10, 11) is less than that of the filling region. Upper ends and lower ends of the limiting belts (8, 9, 10, 11) are separately connected to an upper cloth layer and a lower cloth layer. When the mattress is stressed by human body gravity, the granular fillers automatically move towards a gravity-free region and fill a gap between the human body and the mattress, so as to provide a larger balanced stress surface for the human body and realize balancing of the human body gravity. The mattress is self-adaptive to a posture of lying on the side or lying on the back, so that no pillow is required. The mattress has functions of improving blood circulation and relieving fatigue of joints and muscles, and can avoid discomfort due to uneven stress. The mattress is partitioned into one or more independent filling regions by lateral upright partitioning cloth (12), so that the mattress can be used by one or more persons.
Pocketed Spring Assembly Having Dimensionally Stabilizing Substrate
A pocketed spring assembly comprises a plurality of parallel strings of individually pocketed springs. A dimensionally stabilizing substrate is secured to at least some of the strings on one of the top and bottom surfaces of the strings. A scrim sheet is secured to at least some of the strings on an opposed surface of the strings to maintain the positions of the strings. The dimensionally stabilizing substrate is laterally rigid enough to maintain length and width dimensions of the coil spring assembly. However, the dimensionally stabilizing substrate is flexible enough to allow the pocketed spring assembly to be roll packed for shipping.
