PANCREATIC CELLS FOR TREATING DIABETES AND METHODS OF GENERATING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides cell-based compositions for treating diabetes, methods for identifying cells that preferentially differentiate into endoderm cells, and methods for preparing insulin-producing pancreatic cells, as well as related methods of use for treating diseases related to insulin deficiency.
Agglomerated microbiological media
A method of making a flowable, dried agglomerated nutrient medium is provided. The method comprises introducing a nutrient component comprising a powdered nutrient, and an agglomeration liquid, into an agglomerator comprising a flow-through-type agglomeration chamber, wet-massing the nutrient component with the agglomeration liquid in the agglomeration chamber for a predetermined period of time to form agglomerated nutrient medium particles, and exposing the agglomerated nutrient medium particles to drying conditions for a period of time to form the dried, agglomerated nutrient medium. The nutrient component facilitates the growth of a microorganism. Compositions, articles, and kits comprising the flowable, dried agglomerated nutrient medium are also provided.
Cell culture compositions with antioxidants and methods for polypeptide production
Cell culture media comprising antioxidants are provided herein as are methods of using the media for cell culturing and polypeptide production from cells. Compositions comprising polypeptides, such as therapeutic polypeptides, produced by the methods herein are also provided.
SERUM-FREE IN VITRO DIRECTED DIFFERENTIATION PROTOCOL FOR GENERATING STEM CELL-DERIVED BETA CELLS AND USES THEREOF
Disclosed herein are methods for generating SC- cells using chemically defined, completely serum free media, and isolated populations of SC- cells for use in various applications, such as cell therapy.
SERUM-FREE IN VITRO DIRECTED DIFFERENTIATION PROTOCOL FOR GENERATING STEM CELL-DERIVED BETA CELLS AND USES THEREOF

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THE EXPANSION OF HEMATOPOIETIC STEM AND PROGENITOR CELLS AND TREATMENT OF INHERITED METABOLIC DISORDERS
Provided herein are compositions and methods useful for the expansion of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. In accordance with the composition and methods described herein, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells may be expanded, for instance, by treatment ex vivo with an aryl hydrocarbon receptor antagonist, and may be infused into a patient, such as a patient in need of hematopoietic stem cell transplant therapy. Thus, provided herein are methods for the treatment of various related disorders, including inherited metabolic disorders, among others.
METHODS, KITS, AND COMPOSITIONS FOR ENHANCING CELLULAR THERAPY
Cell-based compositions and methods for targeting and treating human diseases, including cancers and infectious diseases, are provided, wherein exogenous intracellular sarcosine is used for improved delivery of the composition.
CULTURE MEDIUM FOR PLURIPOTENT STEM CELLS
The present invention relates to a chemically defined medium for eukaryotic cell culture, comprising water, at least one carbon source, one or more vitamins, one or more salts, one or more fatty acids, one or more buffer components, selenium, at least one substance of the group of Functional Inhibitors of Acid Sphingomyelinase (FIASMAs) and at least one polypeptide of the GF- superfamily with the ability to inhibit stem cell differentiation, its use in the culture of human pluripotent stem cells, a cell culture system comprising human pluripotent stem cells and the chemically defined medium, as well as a kit for proliferation and/or maintenance of human pluripotent stem cells.
Cosmetic composition for improving condition of skin, containing cell culture medium, epidermal growth factor and bovine serum albumin
The present invention relates to: a cosmetic composition for improving the condition of the skin, containing, as active ingredients, a cell culture medium, an epidermal growth factor and a bovine serum albumin; a method for improving the condition of the skin by using the same; and a method for preventing or treating skin diseases. According to the present invention, the cosmetic composition can exhibit excellent wrinkle-reducing and wound-healing effects even when only a small amount of EGF is used, and thus can be useful in improving the condition of the skin or in preventing or treating skin diseases.
