20230117880 · 2023-04-20 ·

The present invention provides a chromosome-stabilizing agent for stem cells containing a β-nicotinamide mononucleotide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a solvate thereof, as an active ingredient. The present invention also provides a culture method for stem cells, including culturing stem cells in a culture medium containing a β-nicotinamide mononucleotide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a solvate thereof.

Compounds for inducing proliferation and differentiation of cells, and methods of use thereof

The present invention provides methods of inducing proliferation of and/or differentiating cells comprising contacting cells with compounds within the methods of the invention. The present invention further provides cells obtainable by the methods of the invention.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING MILK LIKE PRODUCTS

A method for producing a mammalian milk like product, for example a human milk like product comprising generating lactocytes derived from mammalian induced pluripotent stem cells (miPSC), for example human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSC), and expressing the mammalian milk like product, for example the human milk like product from lactocytes.

DERIVATION OF HEPATOCYTES AND HEMATOPOIETIC PROGENITORS FROM HUMAN EMBRYONIC STEM CELLS
20230113074 · 2023-04-13 ·

This disclosure relates generally to methods for generating small hepatocyte progenitor cells (SHPCs) and hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs) from human embryonic stem cells, and hematopoietic progenitor cells from primary human endothelial cells and cell lines populations of small hepatocyte progenitor cells and hematopoietic progenitor cells, and uses thereof.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REPAIRING AGENT FOR BIOLOGICAL TISSUE DAMAGE, AND REPAIRING AGENT FOR BIOLOGICAL TISSUE DAMAGE

The present invention provides a novel repair agent for damaged tissue that brings about a notably high effect of repairing damaged tissue, as compared with conventional repair agents for damaged tissue, and a method for producing such a repair agent. A method for producing a repair agent for damaged tissue of the present invention includes the step of culturing mesenchymal stem cells in a serum-free medium at an oxygen concentration of less than 5%.

STEM CELL MEDIUM AND STEM CELL CULTURING METHOD

A medium for stem cells according to the present invention contains at least one of carboxymethyl cellulose and polyvinylpyrrolidone as a water-soluble polymer. The content of carboxymethyl cellulose in the medium is preferably such that the final concentration thereof is 0.001 μg/mL to 1 mg/mL. The content of polyvinylpyrrolidone in the medium is preferably such that the final concentration thereof is 0.05 μg/mL to 2 mg/mL.

METHOD FOR SELECTING SKELETAL MUSCLE PROGENITOR CELL

The present invention aims to provide a method of sorting a skeletal muscle progenitor cell from a cell population containing the skeletal muscle progenitor cell. The above-mentioned problem is solved by providing a step of introducing miRNA-responsive mRNA into a cell population. The miRNA-responsive mRNA contains (i) a nucleic acid having a sequence specifically recognized by miRNA specifically expressed in a skeletal muscle progenitor cell, and (ii) a nucleic acid containing a sequence encoding a marker protein.

METHOD OF PRODUCING ORGANOID DERIVED FROM LUNG EPITHELIAL CELL OR LUNG CANCER CELL

A method of producing an organoid derived from a lung epithelial cell or a lung cancer cell, comprising culturing a sample including the lung epithelial cell or the lung cancer cell in a culture medium, wherein the culture medium contains 0-10% (v/v) extracellular matrix, and a combination of at least one selected from the group consisting of keratinocyte growth factor (KGF), fibroblast growth factor (FGF) 10, and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF); bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) inhibitor; and TGFβ inhibitor, and the culture medium is substantially free of feeder cells.
