Inflatable Air Mattress Alert and Monitoring System

This disclosure describes, among other things, techniques for waking a user by changing the user's sleep environment. In one example, a method includes receiving, at a central controller of an air mattress system, at least one user alarm setting, generating, via the central controller, at least one instruction based on the received user alarm setting, and transmitting, from the central controller, the at least one instruction to a first component of the air mattress system to adjust a feature of the first component.

SELF-INFLATING MATTRESS WITH COMFORT ADJUSTMENT
20190387898 · 2019-12-26 ·

Sealed foam, self-inflating mattress system includes a mattress core formed of open-cell foam. The mattress core includes first and second major sleeping surfaces on opposing sides of the mattress and at least one side wall which extends between the two major sleeping surfaces. An elastomeric coating encloses the mattress core to define an airtight mattress chamber. A vacuum pump is disposed in a recess of the mattress core and operatively coupled to the airtight mattress chamber. The vacuum pump is configured to selectively establish a negative PSIG internal operation pressure within the airtight mattress chamber. The negative PSIG internal operation pressure improves a comfort of the self-inflating mattress.

Device (10, 110, 210) including at least one flexible pouch (12, 21, 22) delimiting an interior volume, one air inlet opening (13) per flexible pouch to allow air to pass into an interior volume of the pouch, a closure for closing the air inlet in an airtight manner, the closure including two flexible strips (14, 16) located at the periphery of the air inlet opening, the strips being connected at their ends and adapted to be pressed against one another. A rigid movable part (24, 25, 26) is pivotally connected to one of the ends of the strips so that the movable part can be positioned around the strips in a closed position in which the two strips are kept clamped together so as to prevent air from escaping the device.

Mattress system and assembly

A mattress system with at least two inflatable bladders located within a tub compartment of a foam encasement is enclosed. The bladders are surrounded on all sides by foam layers and the bladders are inflated and deflated by a control unit. The control unit is positioned within the tub compartment near the foot of the mattress and centered between the two bladder assemblies. The control unit is adhered to the foam encasement.

Inflatable bed with mattress

An inflatable bed with mattress includes a bed body including a top panel, a bottom panel and a first side panel, whose top is connected to the edge of the top panel while whose bottom is connected to the edge of the bottom panel, all three enclose a gas chamber, a connecting side panel extends vertically from the top of the first side panel, and a mattress including a first cloth adhesion layer, a sponge layer and a second cloth adhesion layer, a second side panel is arranged around the sponge layer, the top of the second side panel is connected to the peripheral edge of the first cloth adhesion layer, the bottom of the second side panel is connected to the peripheral edge of the second cloth adhesion layer, and the top of the connecting side panel is connected to the peripheral edge of the first cloth adhesion layer.

Stowable bed

A self-inflating stowable bed. The bed includes one or more self-inflating chambers, with each of the self-inflating chambers having one or more polyurethane foam sections therein, with the chamber defined between a first air impervious layer and a second air impervious layer. The self-inflating bed may be evacuated by a household or shop vacuum, and then sealed, rolled or folded, and easily stored or shipped. The polyurethane foam sections may be provided with different members having different indentation force deflection specifications suitable for bed portions and edge of bed portions.

Mattress with adjustable firmness

A mattress can include one or more layers of foam material, an adjustable air layer including an air bladder, and a valve. The valve can be fluidically connected to the air bladder and configured to regulate pressure of the air bladder in response to actuation. Some embodiments can include a foam material positioned inside the air bladder.

Foldable mattrass for transportation
10485356 · 2019-11-26 · ·

A foldable mattress includes a mattress body having a top layer and a bottom layer, a core mattress support disposed between the top and bottom layers within a center portion of the mattress body, an air valve operatively coupled at the mattress body for inflating the mattress body from a folded state to an unfolded state, and a peripheral mattress support disposed at a peripheral portion of the mattress body when the mattress body is in the unfolded state. At the folded state, the mattress body is air-vacuumed that the top layer is overlapped on the bottom layer to compress the core mattress support therebetween to minimize a thickness of the mattress body. At the unfolded state, the mattress body is inflated to uncompress the core mattress support so as to fully expand the mattress body.

In some embodiments, a reversible multi-layer mattress pad comprises a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The first layer comprises a first temperature-sensitive memory foam having a first density suitable for warmer temperatures, and the second layer comprises a second temperature-sensitive memory foam having a second density suitable for cooler temperatures. The third layer comprises a form-supporting form layer disposed between first and seconds layers (e.g., forming a three-layer stack).
