A self-inflating stowable bed. The bed includes one or more self-inflating chambers, with each of the self-inflating chambers having one or more polyurethane foam sections therein, with the chamber defined between a first air impervious layer and a second air impervious layer. The self-inflating bed may be evacuated by a household or shop vacuum, and then sealed, rolled or folded, and easily stored or shipped. The polyurethane foam sections may be provided with different members having different indentation force deflection specifications suitable for bed portions and edge of bed portions.

When the inflatable bed is folded, the air pump deflates the inflatable bed, and during a deflation process, the inflatable bed is rolled up into a cylindrical shape; when the inflatable bed is unfolded, the air pump inflates the inflate bed, and during an inflation process, the inflatable bed is expanded and unfolded. The inflatable bed system enables automatic rolling up and unfolding of the inflatable bed, saving time and effort, and the volume of the inflatable bed is small after being folded, occupying less space.

Mattress with stacked air chambers
Disclosed are beds having stackable air chambers. A mattress can include a first air chamber, a second air chamber stacked beneath the first air chamber and fluidly connected to the first air chamber, and a support stacked beneath the first air chamber and positioned between the second air chamber and a foot end of the mattress. The first air chamber can extend across a length of the mattress from a head end to the foot end of the mattress. The second air chamber can be positioned at a shoulder region of the mattress. The first and second air chambers can have a common internal pressure, such that decreasing the pressure in the first and second air chambers cause the support stacked beneath the first air chamber and positioned between the second air chamber and the foot end of the mattress to increase support at a lumbar region of the mattress.

Mattress with Stacked Air Chambers
Disclosed are beds having stackable air chambers. A mattress can include a first air chamber, a second air chamber stacked beneath the first air chamber and fluidly connected to the first air chamber, and a support stacked beneath the first air chamber and positioned between the second air chamber and a foot end of the mattress. The first air chamber can extend across a length of the mattress from a head end to the foot end of the mattress. The second air chamber can be positioned at a shoulder region of the mattress. The first and second air chambers can have a common internal pressure, such that decreasing the pressure in the first and second air chambers cause the support stacked beneath the first air chamber and positioned between the second air chamber and the foot end of the mattress to increase support at a lumbar region of the mattress.
