FOAM COMFORT LAYER WITH LIQUID PODS AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A comfort layer for a bedding or seating product has liquid pods sandwiched between plies of fabric. The plies of fabric are joined with seams thereby creating pockets, at least one liquid pod being inside each pocket. Each seam joining opposed plies of fabric around each of the liquid pods of the comfort layer may be segmented or solid, depending upon the fabric and type of seam.
INFLATABLE DEVICE
An inflatable device for patient positioning is provided. The inflatable device may include a first inflation chamber subsystem, a second inflation chamber subsystem, a third inflation chamber subsystem. At least a portion of the first inflation chamber subsystem may be conspicuously marked with a first color. At least a portion of the second inflation chamber subsystem may be conspicuously marked with a second color. At least a portion of the third inflation chamber subsystem may conspicuously marked with a third color. The first, second, and third colors may be visually distinct.
Snore sensing bed
A system can include a foundation structure and a sensor. The foundation structure can have a plurality of deck panels configured to support a mattress. The plurality of deck panels can include a head panel. The plurality of deck panels can have a head, a foot, a first side, and a second side, a first edge along the head, a second edge along the foot opposite of the first edge, a third edge along the first side, and a fourth edge along the second side opposite the third edge. The sensor can be configured to detect a sound indicative of a snore. The sensor can be positioned along the third edge or fourth edge of the head panel.
Valve assembly for an air cushion
An air valve assembly includes a housing defining an internal channel, a plunger member positioned in the internal channel and configured to slide relative to the housing, a biasing member positioned in the internal channel and configured to apply a biasing force onto the plunger member, a sealing member defining a first inflation aperture, the plunger member slidably received by the first inflation aperture, a second deflation aperture defined by the housing and in fluid communication with the internal channel, and a deflation control member slidably connected to the housing, the deflation control member configured to selectively seal the second deflation aperture.
UNIVERSAL AIR SURFACE
A universal air surface may include a plurality of inflatable air chambers disposed in parallel arrangement with each other, wherein a first side wall and a second side wall of the plurality of inflatable air chambers are asymmetrically to each other about a central axis of the plurality of inflatable air chambers to accommodate a manifold routed adjacent to a first lower end wall of the plurality of inflatable air chambers. A first void is formed between the first lower end wall of the plurality of inflatable air chambers, a bed frame, and a first side rail. A second void is formed between the second lower end wall, the bed frame, and a second side rail; wherein a first cross sectional area of the first void is greater than a second cross sectional area of the second void. Methods of routing the manifold within the first void are disclosed.

PERSONALIZED MATTRESS SYSTEM AND MATTRESS CUSTOMIZATION METHOD
The present disclosure discloses a personalized mattress system and a mattress customization method. The personalized mattress system includes a client, an adjustable mattress device, and a cloud, wherein the client includes a user login unit, a user personal customization unit, a mattress control unit, and a data communication unit; the adjustable mattress device includes a data communication unit, a main control unit, an algorithm unit, a sensing unit, an adjustment unit, and a local data storage unit; and the adjustable mattress device acquires user customization information from the client or the cloud through the data communication unit and perform mattress adjustment.
Composite mattresses with air chambers
A composite mattress includes a pressurizable layer and a top layer. A coiled spring layer may also be included in the composite mattress. The composite mattress may also include a base layer and/or an intermediate layer. A foundation, or rail, may laterally surround the pressurizable layer and the top layer. The composite mattress may include a cover, including a base panel, a periphery, and a top panel. The cover may encase the other components of the composite mattress. The composite mattress may include a separable top and bottom; these elements may be modular, enabling individuals or couples to customize a mattress by selecting one or more tops from a plurality of available tops for use with one or more bases from a plurality of available bases.
