METHOD FOR PREPARING CELLULAR SPHEROID AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING EXTRACELLULAR VESICLES BY USING CELLULAR SPHEROID PREPARED BY SUCH METHOD
Proposed is a method of producing extracellular vesicles by using a cellular spheroid prepared by: preparing a first composition comprising cells and a heat-sensitive hydrogel dissolved in an ionic solution; dispensing the first composition drop by drop into a second hydrogel; forming core-shell structures by causing a reaction between the second hydrogel and the ionic solution along an outer surface of a droplet of the first composition injected into the second hydrogel to form a cross-linked hydrogel shell; changing a temperature so that the heat-sensitive hydrogel in the cross-linked hydrogel shell undergoes a phase change from a gel phase to a liquid phase; and forming a cellar spheroid by allowing the inside of the cross-linked hydrogel shell to be changed into the liquid phase and allowing the cells to precipitate and aggregate. Furthermore, the extracellular vesicles can be produced by using the cellular spheroids prepared thereby.
METHOD FOR PREPARING CULTURED MEAT ON BASIS OF CELL COATING TECHNIQUE, AND CULTURED MEAT PREPARED THEREBY
The present disclosure provides a method for producing cultured meat, the method including: coating surfaces of cells usable for producing cultured meat to form a nanofilm; culturing the coated cells; inducing proliferation of the cultured cells; and allowing muscle tissue to be formed from the differentiated cells, and cultured meat produced using the same. As cell protection and cell adhesion are increased, the cell proliferation and differentiation efficiency is increased, such that an environment optimized for cultured meat production may be created through mass proliferation of the cells.
FULLY FUNCTIONAL CONTRACTILE GASTROINTESTINAL ORGANOID SYSTEM, GENERATED FROM HUMAN-INDUCED PLURIPOTENT STEM CELLS TO DEVELOP A HIGH THROUGHPUT SYSTEM FOR DETECTING EXISTING AND NEWLY-EMERGING PATHOGENS, DRUGS, TOXICITY AND THEREOF
A gastrointestinal organoid provides a fully functional complex GIO consisting of epithelial, endothelial, and mesenchymal cells with the microbiome of a natural human gastrointestinal system and exhibiting contractile behavior, useful for the rapid and sensitive screening of pathogens, toxins, drugs, environmental factors, and other compounds or diseases.
CULTURE MEDIUM COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a culture method of cells and/or tissues including culturing cells and/or tissues in a suspended state by using a medium composition having an effect of preventing sedimentation of cells and/or tissues, which is afforded by substantially retaining the cells and/or tissues, without substantially increasing the viscosity of the solution, by nanofibers which have been added to the solution and uniformly dispersed in the liquid medium, and the like.
Multi-Layer Film Comprising Nutrient Material for Cell Culture, Method for Preparing Same, and Use of Same
The present application relates to a multi-layer film comprising a nutrient material for cell culture, a method for preparing same, and the use of same. The multi-layer film of the present application can be utilized for cell culture for preparing cultured meat.
Extracellular matrices which can be used as scaffold for living cells
The present invention discloses an extracellular matrix comprising a modified polysaccharide consisting of repeating disaccharide units whereby in at least 11% of the disaccharide units one primary alcohol group is oxidized into a carboxylic acid.
Chitin Whisker-Enhanced Hyaluronic Acid Cell Scaffold and Preparation Method Thereof
Provided are a chitin whisker-enhanced hyaluronic acid cell scaffold and a preparation method thereof. Components of the cell scaffold include chitin whiskers and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The chitin whisker-enhanced hyaluronic acid cell scaffold is obtained by dispersing chitin whiskers into deionized water using ultrasound, followed by addition of hyaluronic acid and uniform mixing to obtain an aqueous solution, adjusting a pH value of the aqueous solution to be in a range of 4.0 to 6.0, subjecting the aqueous solution to a cross-linking reaction, dialyzing a reaction product in a phosphate buffer solution, and freeze drying a resulting product. The chitin whisker-enhanced hyaluronic acid cell scaffold and the preparation method thereof can increase a mechanical property and a resistance to degradation of a scaffold material and expand an application scope of hyaluronic acid cell scaffolds.
IN VITRO INSECT MUSCLE AS A NUTRITION SOURCE
Provided herein is a cultured meat product comprising a confluent serum-free insect muscle cell culture seeded on a food safe substrate. Further provided herein is a method for producing a cultured meat product comprising the steps of: culturing insect muscle cells on a food safe substrate in serum-free culture medium for a time sufficient for the cells to reach confluence. Also provided herein is a bioactuator comprising confluent insect muscle cells cultured in a flexible substrate to form muscle fibers.
MEMBRANOUS IMMOBILIZED CELLS, POLYPEPTIDES, OLIGOPEPTIDES OR PROTEINS AND A PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A membranous immobilized cell, polypeptide, oligopeptide or protein and a preparation method thereof are provided. The method includes the following steps: 1) providing un-film-form chitosan, where the chitosan is un-pre-crosslinked or pre-crosslinked; 2) providing a mixture of the un-film-form chitosan and cell, polypeptide, oligopeptide or protein, and in the mixture, the un-film-form chitosan is in a dissolved state; 3) mixing the mixture with a crosslinking reagent to obtain a co-crosslinked product of the chitosan and the cell, polypeptide, oligopeptide or protein; and 4) drying the co-crosslinked product to obtain membranous immobilized cell, polypeptide, oligopeptide or protein. When un-pre-crosslinked chitosan is used in the step 1), the method further includes comprises the step 5) mixing the membranous immobilized cell, polypeptide, oligopeptide or protein with phosphate salt, so that chitosan molecules therein are crosslinked with each other.
