The receiving panel comprises a ferromagnetic material. The display panel comprises a cover and a magnetic sheet. The magnetic sheet is opposite of a face of the cover and configured to detachably connect to the receiving panel. The magnetic sheet is substantially coextensive with the cover.

A seating structure includes a frame, a carrier, and a suspension material. The frame includes first and second side frame members and first and second cross frame members forming a closed loop and defining an opening therebetween. The frame also includes a plurality of first attachment features on an outer perimeter of the frame. The carrier includes first and second side carrier members and first and second cross carrier members that form a closed loop. The carrier also includes a plurality of second attachment features on an inner perimeter of the carrier. The plurality of second attachment features engages the plurality of first attachment features to attach the carrier to the frame. The suspension material is attached to the carrier and extends over the opening in the frame to define a continuous seat and backrest.

There is provided a cover-material fixing tool. A cover-material fixing end member is configured to be attached on a cover-material. A clip is configured to be attached on a cover-material fixing end member. The cover-material fixing end member includes a tape member, a clip locking member, and a plurality of stoppers. The clip includes a locking portion for holding the clip locking member to allow the clip locking member to move in a longitudinal direction, and a locking protrusion protruding toward the clip locking member and configured to abut against the stoppers. The clip is movable between the adjacent stoppers to allow position adjustment thereof.

Seating arrangement

A seating arrangement includes a seat assembly, a control assembly, a back assembly, and a quick-connection arrangement to connect the back assembly to the control assembly, where the back assembly includes first and second reliefs and the control assembly includes first and second shafts received within the first and second reliefs respectively, and a locking arrangement that includes a primary locking member pivotable between a locked position, where the primary locking member abuts the second shaft arrangement, thereby preventing the second shaft arrangement from being removed from within the second relief, and an unlocked position, where the second shaft arrangement may be removed from within the second relief, thereby allowing the back assembly to be uncoupled from the control assembly.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HIDING MOLDING FLASH

A system for hiding flash in a suspension seat includes a frame having a channel having at least one wall, a fabric seat surface and a carrier over-molded onto the seat surface. The carrier has a wall and is over-molded onto the seat surface such that the seat surface extends from the wall. The carrier and a portion of the seat surface at a juncture of the carrier and the seat surface are positioned in the channel with the portion of the seat surface abutting the wall of the channel, such that flash formed at the juncture of the carrier and the seat surface is positioned against the wall of the channel. A seat formed thereby and a method for making the seat are disclosed.

BACK SUPPORT FOR A CHAIR

An office-type chair including a back support having a suspension mesh back support and a back support frame. The suspension mesh back support has an integral retaining channel disposed at a peripheral edge thereof, and the back support frame includes a central pair of upright support posts and wedge base for mounting to a chair frame. The back support frame includes a plurality of flexible and spaced support arms extending laterally outward from the upright support posts. The support arms each have a peripheral edge configured for fastenerless attachment in a tensioned state within the suspension mesh retaining channel. An upholstery cover encapsulates the suspension mesh and back support frame. The office chair also includes a lumbar mechanism including a resilient cushion that may be positioned in the space between the suspension mesh and the support frame and adjusted along the vertical extent of the back support by rolling the resilient cushion on the rear of the suspension mesh.

Presented is a releasable clip assembly operable to secure a cushion to a supporting surface, the assembly having a male component which is received in a first axis in a chassis of a female component. The clip assembly also has one or more engagement elements configurable into an open configuration to admit the male component and operable to return to a closed configuration to engage the received male component to secure it in the chassis, and one or more release elements operable when actuated transversely to the first axis to allow the engagement elements to be configured in the open configuration to release the male component.

Apparatus for upholstering truss and method of using same

An apparatus for upholstering a truss allows an operator to staple a fabric web to the truss, rotate the truss, further staple the semi-finished truss and cut the fabric web. The truss is fully upholstered after the end surfaces of the truss are wrapped up in fabric and the fabric stapled in place. The apparatus may accommodate different size trusses. A web of fabric is pulled around at least one roller in the apparatus by rotation of two vise mechanisms on opposite sides of the truss.
