A seating arrangement includes a seat assembly slidably movable between a forward most position and a rearward most position and that includes a seat support structure configured to support a seated user thereon, and at least one elongated slide bearing attached to the seat support structure and including a bearing surface and at least one stop member, wherein the bearing surface and the at least one stop member are a single, integral piece. The seating arrangement further includes at least one slide support member that slidably supports the slide bearing thereon between the forward most position and the rearward most position, wherein the at least one stop member is configured to prevent the seat assembly from being moved beyond at least one of the forward most position and the rearward most position.

A system can include a zipper that connects a mattress to a bed foundation. For example, the zipper can extend from a head end to a foot end of an adjustable foundation. For another example, a zipper can connect to a mattress along a seam of the mattress and/or to a foundation along a seam of a foundation. For another example, a first zipper can connect the mattress core to a second zipper and the second zipper can connect a foundation to the first zipper. For another example, first and second zippers can be substantially vertically aligned.

The disclosure relates to a sofa armrest. The sofa armrest includes a main body made by blow molding, the upper end of the inner side surface of the main body is recessed inward to form a fabric mounting groove for mounting armrest fabric, and the lower end of the inner side surface of the main body is provided with clamping-connection grooves for being connected with connectors of a sofa underframe. The sofa armrest is made by a blow molding process, and compared with traditional solid sofa armrests, the sofa armrest has the advantages of low weight, high production speed and less manufacturing materials; when the armrest fabric is squeezed and deformed, debris accumulates on the lower wall of the fabric mounting groove or on a seat cover fabric, cleaning of dust and debris is facilitated, and the overall hygiene of a sofa is maintained.

A method of manufacturing suspension seating includes providing a blank to be used in a suspension member. The blank has a non-visible marker. The method also includes illuminating the non-visible marker with an excitation source. The non-visible marker becomes detectable when illuminated by the excitation source. The method further includes sensing the non-visible marker with a sensor. The sensor is configured to detect the non-visible marker when illuminated by the excitation source. The method also includes determining, by a controller, a characteristic of the blank using the non-visible marker. The controller is in communication with the sensor and configured to receive information related to the non-visible marker from the sensor. The method further includes adjusting the blank to achieve the desired characteristic.

An office-type chair including a back support having a suspension mesh back support and a back support frame. The suspension mesh back support has an integral retaining channel disposed at a peripheral edge thereof, and the back support frame includes a central pair of upright support posts and wedge base for mounting to a chair frame. The back support frame includes a plurality of flexible and spaced support arms extending laterally outward from the upright support posts. The support arms each have a peripheral edge configured for fastenerless attachment in a tensioned state within the suspension mesh retaining channel. An upholstery cover encapsulates the suspension mesh and back support frame. The office chair also includes a lumbar mechanism including a resilient cushion that may be positioned in the space between the suspension mesh and the support frame and adjusted along the vertical extent of the back support by rolling the resilient cushion on the rear of the suspension mesh.

A seating structure includes a frame, a carrier, and a suspension material. The frame includes first and second side frame members and first and second cross frame members forming a closed loop and defining an opening therebetween. The frame also includes a plurality of first attachment features on an outer perimeter of the frame. The carrier includes first and second side carrier members and first and second cross carrier members that form a closed loop. The carrier also includes a plurality of second attachment features on an inner perimeter of the carrier. The plurality of second attachment features engages the plurality of first attachment features to attach the carrier to the frame. The suspension material is attached to the carrier and extends over the opening in the frame to define a continuous seat and backrest.

A sheet fastener for fastening a pair of sheet edges includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes a first fixing portion configured to engage a first edge of the pair of sheet edges and a holder continuous with the first fixing portion. The fabric includes, at the surface, a periodic weave, the base of which includes at least one main filament, inside of which at least one secondary filament is also inserted, arranged in a weft along a predetermined trajectory. The main filament and the secondary filament are mutually and tightly attached at the perimeter area. The fabric includes at least one spool defining a long element trapped inside part of the fabric along the perimeter area wherein the weaving of the main filament creates a tubular shape suitable for housing the spool, and the secondary filament at least partially wraps the spool to mutually block the main filament and the secondary filament at the spool.
