A child seat includes a seat body, and a first and a second support respectively assembled with the seat body via a first and a second connection. The seat body has a seating surface and a bottom surface below the seating surface, and the first and second support are extendable below the bottom surface. The child seat has a first configuration in which the child seat is attached to a support frame at an elevated position above a ground surface, and a second configuration in which the child seat is converted to a booster seat standing independent of the support frame, the first and second support respectively extending forward from the first and second connection in the first configuration, and the first and second support respectively extending rearward from the first and second connection so that the child seat stands on the first and second supports in the second configuration.

Infant high chair and method of operating the same

An infant high chair includes a standing frame, a seat assembly and a side segment. The seat assembly includes a seat support frame movably connected with the standing frame, and a rear and a front seat portion respectively connected with the seat support frame, the front seat portion being respectively connected with the seat support frame and the side segment at two vertically spaced-apart locations. The side segment is pivotally connected with the seat support frame about a pivot axis, and is rotatable between a folded state and a deployed state. A rotation of the side segment in a folding direction drives a rearward sliding displacement of the front seat portion relative to the rear seat portion. Moreover, a downward displacement of the seat assembly to a predetermined lower position while the side segment remains in the folded state can trigger unlocking of the standing frame.

A toddler chair convertible to a standing platform including a foldable support frame with front and rear legs configured to stably support a standing platform and an elevated seat assembly for a toddler. The seat assembly includes a seating portion, a backrest portion, and a moveable elevating frame. The seating assembly is vertically moveable in relation to the support frame. The seating and backrest portions are moveable in relation to each other. A linkage interconnecting the seating portion and the support frame controls movement of the seating portion as the seat assembly is moved in relation to the support frame. In one configuration the seating assembly disposed generally above the platform and is operable as a seat for a child. In a second configuration, the seating portion is repositioned into general alignment with the backrest portion to allow a child to stand on the platform below.

The locking member is movably disposed between the first and second mounts and is movable along an axial direction of a rotating axis of the first and second mounts to lock and release rotation of the first mount. The locking member has a positioning portion and a locking portion. The first mount is locked at a first rotating position or a second rotating position via movement of the locking member. The positioning portion is engaged with the first mating portion to lock the first mount at the first rotating position. The locking portion is engaged with the second mating portion to lock the first mount at the second rotating position.

An infant car seat is adapted for being installed on a seat carrier. The infant car seat includes a seat shell, a latch, a release unit, and a resilient member. The seat shell is formed with a receiving space having an opening. The latch is disposed in the receiving space, and is adapted for engaging with a ledge of the seat carrier. The release unit includes an actuating member operable to drive the latch to move from a rest position, where a portion of the latch protrudes out of the opening for engaging with the ledge of the seat carrier, to a retracted position, where the latch is retracted into the receiving space. The resilient member is connected between the seat shell and the latch for biasing the latch toward the rest position.

In one example, a highchair has a seat and a base. The base is attached to the seat such that, when the base is disposed on a surface, the base supports the seat above the surface. The base has a plurality of legs that are rotatable so as to transition the highchair between a raised position and a lowered position. In the raised position, the seat is disposed at a first height and the plurality of legs together define a first footprint that has a first cross-sectional area in a select plane. In the lowered position, the seat is disposed at a second height, lower than the first height, and the plurality of legs together define a second footprint that has a second cross-sectional area in the select plane that is less than the first cross-sectional area.
