The seat includes a post through opening that engages the post and positions the seat in the seat receptacle of the base.

The tray guidance system may comprise at least one magnet feature in the seat and at least one other magnet feature in the tray assembly. Once latched, the tray may be slidably positioned relative to the seat while remaining latched thereto. The seat may be movably supported on a frame assembly and a seat positioning system may be included to selectively retain the seat at desired heights on the frame assembly.

Child booster seat assembly

A child booster seat assembly includes a base seat and an upper seat. A first seating area is formed on the base seat. The upper seat is detachably installed on the base seat. The upper seat can be installed on the base seat installed on an adult chair at a higher position or detached from the base seat and installed on the adult chair at a lower position, which allows a caregiver to adjust an elevated height of the upper seat easily. Furthermore, when the upper seat is detached from the base seat, the upper seat and the base seat can be used independently and respectively installed on two adult chairs for accommodating two children at once.

SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR A CONVERTIBLE CHILD HIGH-CHAIR AND STEP STOOL

The convertible child high-chair and step stool can include a frame having a front leg stand and a rear leg stand. A height adjustment mechanism can be coupled to the front leg stand or the rear leg stand and can be adjustable along the vertical axis of the front leg stand or the rear leg stand from a raised position to a lowered position. The apparatus can also include a booster seat and removable platform step. In the raised position, the booster seat can be coupled to the height adjustment mechanism to provide a high chair. In the lowered position, the booster seat can be removed and the removable platform step can be coupled to the height adjustment mechanism and the frame to provide a step stool. The apparatus can also include wheel assemblies coupled to the frame that limit the potential for tip hazards in the step stool configuration.

Tray with integral mechanism

A tray for attachment to first and second rising legs of a foldable chair for a child. A connection between the tray and one of the first and second legs includes a female connector depending from the underside of a tray and a male connector rising from the leg. An interlock slides between the female and male connectors and is operated by a handle integral with the interlock. Resilient arms integral with the interlock and handle keep the interlock engaged and automatically draw back the interlock after the handle slides the interlock to a disengaged position such that the tray can be removed from the legs.
