A rectangular, infant crib which can convert into various configurations, especially to allow for a parent to co-sleep with an infant wherein the front wall is capable of folding downwards to a horizontal position and has a plurality of legs on the outer side of the front wall that are capable of folding down in a manner to support the front wall in the horizontal position.

A horizontally expandable bed rail having a guard rail frame that confronts a first side of a bed to prevent a child from falling out of the bed. The guard rail frame includes a pair of vertical support members interconnected by upper, lower and intermediate horizontal support members that slide horizontally in and out such that the vertical support members have an extended position where the vertical support members are spaced apart by a first distance and a drawn in position where the vertical support members are spaced apart by a second distance that is less than the first distance.

A baby crib may include: a frame including an upper portion and a lower portion connected together; a plurality of peripheral walls made of flexible material and secured to the frame; a bottom secured to the frame at the lower portion of the frame and surrounded by the peripheral walls; at least one of the peripheral walls having variable height; a support structure configured to support the frame and configured to increase and/or decrease a height of the bottom; and elastic return members, fixed to the lower portion of the frame, that are configured to be fixed to a bed to push or pull the frame against the bed. The upper portion, the lower portion, and the elastic return members may be rigidly movable jointly with each other and with the bottom when the height of the bottom is increased and/or decreased.

A crib may include: an upper frame; an enclosure made of flexible material, connected to the upper frame and having an openable side; a lower frame connected to the upper frame and configured to support a mattress; and two guides. The upper frame may include a first portion, connected to the lower frame and having two first ends, and a second portion, movable relative to the first portion and having two second ends. The upper frame may be switched between a closed configuration, in which the second ends are locked with respect to the first ends, and an open configuration, in which the second portion is spaced from the first ends. The guides may extend from the first portion of the upper frame toward the lower frame. The second ends may be configured to slide along a respective guide to move from the closed to the open configuration.

A crib may include: an upper frame; an enclosure made of flexible material, connected to the upper frame and having an openable side; a lower frame connected to the upper frame and configured to support a mattress; and two guides. The upper frame may include a first portion, connected to the lower frame and having two first ends, and a second portion, movable relative to the first portion and having two second ends. The upper frame may be switched between a closed configuration, in which the second ends are locked with respect to the first ends, and an open configuration, in which the second portion is spaced from the first ends. The guides may extend from the first portion of the upper frame toward the lower frame. The second ends may be configured to slide along a respective guide to move from the closed to the open configuration.

A bed rail having a guard frame that prevents a child from rolling off a bed and a pair of legs that extend between the mattress and box spring. The guard frame swings between up and down positions and is pivotally connected to the legs via a first junction. A second junction locks the guard frame to the legs. The second junction includes a rotatable seat that engages a pin extending from the guard frame. The bed rail further includes a strap that engages a proximal end of a leg, a distal end of the leg, and an anchor, which engages the side of the bed opposite of the bed rail.

A bed rail for engagement between a mattress and a box spring and having a base support and a guard frame, with guard frame having a pivot that pivots and slides in the base support. The base support includes a first seat that seats the pivot and a second seat that seats a biased piece sliding axially on a first support member of the guard frame. The first support member extends from a plastic piece that forms a junction from which a second support member and the pivot extend and that nestles up to the second seat.

A baby crib comprises an upper frame, a lower frame and support members attached to the upper frame and the lower frame. The upper frame comprises a first part firmly attached to the support members and a second part. The second part is pivotally coupled with the support members to move reversibly from a first position to a second position to move said second part relative to said first part.
