A child support system for infants or small children. The child support system includes a child containment device and at least one child support unit detachably mounted to the child containment device. The child containment device includes a frame, liner and, optionally, a raised bassinet mattress. The at least one child support unit may take the form of a bassinet, sleeper, seat, and/or a changing table. The child containment device frame can be collapsible for storage and transport. The child support unit can be configured for use in different modes, in combination with, and/or independent of the child containment device.

A child care apparatus includes a standing frame including a mounting portion, and a child support frame held on the standing frame via at least one hanging bar that has an end portion pivotally connected with the mounting portion, the hanging bar being rotatable for swinging the child support frame, wherein the end portion of the hanging bar is pivotally connected with the mounting portion at a position that is adjustable on the mounting portion.

An infant calming/sleep-aid device includes a main moving platform that moves in a reciprocating manner and an actuator that drives the reciprocating movement of the main moving platform. The moving head platform is linked to the main moving platform and at least one of a motion sensing device and a sound sensing device are either at or proximate to a moving head platform that is pivotally linked to the main moving platform. A logic circuit links at least one of the motion and sound sensing devices of the infant calming/sleep aid-device to the main moving platform whereby signals detected modulate movement of the main moving platform. A sound generating device is linked to the logic circuit.

A swivel rocker having a swivel rocker frame that in turn includes a rocker frame portion and a swivel frame portion that can induce the three types of motion of swivel or roll, rock or pitch, and spin or yaw. The swivel frame portion can be quickly engaged to and disengaged from the rocker frame portion. Each of the swivel frame portion and rocker frame portion is foldable to a compact form. Each of the swivel frame portion and rocker frame portion includes a hub portion, which hub portions are rotatable relative to each other and lockable relative to each other.

The travel is connected with an electric motor fastened also to the base plate, which ensures the movement of the travel. A baby crib may include: a frame including an upper portion and a lower portion connected together; a plurality of peripheral walls made of flexible material and secured to the frame; a bottom secured to the frame at the lower portion of the frame and surrounded by the peripheral walls; at least one of the peripheral walls having variable height; a support structure configured to support the frame and configured to increase and/or decrease a height of the bottom; and elastic return members, fixed to the lower portion of the frame, that are configured to be fixed to a bed to push or pull the frame against the bed. The upper frame may include a first portion, connected to the lower frame and having two first ends, and a second portion, movable relative to the first portion and having two second ends. The upper frame may be switched between a closed configuration, in which the second ends are locked with respect to the first ends, and an open configuration, in which the second portion is spaced from the first ends. The guides may extend from the first portion of the upper frame toward the lower frame. The second ends may be configured to slide along a respective guide to move from the closed to the open configuration.
