A configurable baby cover for covering an infant in a number of situations and/or environments. A fabric portion provides privacy or shade for the infant and is shaped to ensure coverage of a user while nursing. A mesh portion provides airflow to the user and baby to prevent overheating and completes the shape of the cover. The cover has a first opening and a second opening which define a passage through the cover through which a user's torso, a baby car seat, a high chair, or other object may pass through partially or wholly. Fasteners around the second opening of the cover reduce the size of the second opening when secured and keep the cover in place on a user's shoulder or on an upper portion of a car seat or high chair.

A shell for an infant seat comprises a carbon fiber structure reinforced by one or more reinforcing members of a material other than carbon fiber forming a shell shaped to accommodate an infant. The one or more reinforcing members is located on the concave side of the structure, e.g. between the structure and the infant. The structure and the one or more reinforcing members are fixed to each other so as to prevent relative movement between them in use. The reinforcing members may be made from plastic and may be overmolded or glued on the carbon fiber structure.

This invention relates to an infant carrier adaptable for selectively carrying the infant in the front or the back of the wearer and facing towards or away from the wearer without requiring that the child be repositioned in the carrier. A child carrier includes a carrying harness having a waist strap, a child supporting part connected with the carrying harness and including a hip support portion and a torso support portion connected with each other, and an expandable part extending across the hip support portion and operable to adjust a bottom distance between the torso support portion and the carrying harness. The expandable part has a first end anchored to the waist strap or the child supporting part in a region adjacent the waist strap, and a second end anchored to the child supporting part at a location distant from the first end. The expandable part is foldable to displace the first end and the second end toward each other for reducing the bottom distance, and is stretched as the first and second ends are displaced away from each other for increasing the bottom distance.

The present invention relates to a baby carrier consisting of shoulder straps, a main panel, and side panels with adjustable height. The lower aspect of the main panel consists of a seat component with a belt around the waist to secure the baby in place. The purpose of the adjustable positioning system is to change the angle of the seat component in order to accommodate for the increase downward movement of the solid seat component caused by heavy weight.

A baby carrier capable of carrying an infant. The baby carrier includes a belt that wraps around a caregiver's waist. A baby support portion couples to the belt and supports the infant. A first tie strap couples to the baby support portion The first tie strap defines an opening through which an arm of the caregiver passes when wearing the baby carrier. The first tie secures the baby carrier around the torso of the caregiver with the arm of the caregiver through the opening in the first tie such that the first tie rests on the shoulder of the caregiver at the opening. A second tie couples to the baby support portion and includes a second opening similar to the opening in the first tie. The first and second ties are secured to the baby support portion enabling adjustment and securing of the baby carrier to the caregiver.

Child carrier which is configured to be releasably and removably secured to a backpack worn by another person. The child carrier may be lightweight and collapsible such that it is easily stored when not in use. The child carrier may be configured to be worn on a front of a person's body while the backpack is worn on the back.

A baby carrier system is disclosed herein. The baby carrier system includes a baby carrier and a waist strap. The baby carrier includes a main body, a baby securing system, and shoulder straps. The waist strap may preferably be detachable and adjustable. In some embodiments, the baby carrier system may be a multi-functional baby carrier system that includes a multi-functional baby carrier configured for use as a car seat insert, where the multi-functional baby carrier includes fastener slits that allow for a car seat harness to secure a baby when the fastener slits are unfastened.
