A child restraint configured to be securable to and separable from a base installed in a vehicle, the child restraint comprising an illuminator positioned on an external portion of the child restraint, configured to operate in a first mode, illuminating a first region external to the child restraint wherein, in the event that the child restraint is not secured to the base, and the child restraint is moved, the illuminator will be activated in its first mode, illuminating the first region external to the child restraint for the purpose of aiding securement to the base, and wherein in the event that the child restraint is secured to the base, the first mode will be deactivated.

The invention relates to a baby carrier comprising shoulder straps, which are arranged to extend around both shoulder regions of a wearer, and a front piece mounted on the shoulder straps so as to form a baby carrying pouch, and a head support, said front piece having a strip-like part connected to a lower portion of the shoulder straps via a coupling element, said strip-like part being movable lengthwise in the coupling element so as to adjust the size of the baby carrying pouch. A width W1 of the strip-like part is 50 to 150%, preferably 70 to 130%, and most preferably 90 to 110%, larger than a width W2 of the coupling element.

Infant car seats with improved handles and other features are described. An infant car seat and associated handle may collectively include multiple supports, including a lower support configured to engage a hand of a user and an upper support configured to engage an arm of the user. Examples of lower supports include an opening in a seat shell, a tubular member, or a hinged handle. Examples of upper support mays include a semicircular portion or a loop included in the handle and configured to at least partially encircle or otherwise engage an arm of the user. These and other features may increase the ease and comfort with which the user may carry the infant car seat.

A multi-functional cardigan that can be worn with or without baby and is meant to help free up a mother's hand by helping hold newborn babies upright, especially those with acid reflux or colic. The cardigan's main utility is its support for helping mothers hold newborn babies upright after each feeding through its connectors and draped ends. Elastic connectors on each of the cardigan's front draped ends connect each side of the cardigan around the baby by looping the elastic around a shank button located on the inside and outside of the cardigan's side seams. The intentional long draped ends tuck up, under and around the baby, securing the baby to the mother's body.
