Child carrier

A child carrier having a waist belt, an upper torso support, a hammock coupled to the waist belt and to the upper torso support, and a thigh support strap extending to each side of the hammock. Each thigh support strap has an inward end portion proximate to the hammock and an outward end portion configured for selective coupling to the upper torso support in multiple positions. When the thigh support straps are coupled to the upper torso support, the hammock and the thigh support straps form a seat to support a child in an ergonomic spread-squat position in inward and outward facing orientations. The shape of the seat adjusts depending on the positions in which the outward end portions of the thigh support straps are coupled to the upper torso support.

CHILD CARRIER

A child carrier with a carrying frame and a seating unit coupled to the carrying frame. The seating unit includes a height-adjustable seat and a pair of thigh supports, each coupled to the seat at a first end. Each of the thigh supports comprises a wrapping portion configured to at least partially surround a bottom of the thigh of a child. An adjustment of the seat from a first seat height to a second seat height simultaneously adjusts each of the thigh supports. The first end of each of the thigh supports is positioned closer to a front portion of the carrying frame when the seat is at the first seat height than at the second seat height, thereby positioning a thigh support surface of each of the thigh supports closer to a respective knee of the child when the seat is at the first seat.

A first scarf is extendable through the cushion chamber in the sleeve such that the first scarf forms a pair of arms that can be wrapped around the baby and the mother's torso thereby securing the baby to the mother's torso. A second scarf is provided which is wrappable around the first scarf to facilitate the baby to be firmly secured against the mother's torso.

This description is related to an adapter that can be coupled to a stroller frame (e.g., to one side of the stroller frame) or other child product and that is changeable between a first configuration for supporting a first type of accessory (e.g., stroller accessory) and a second configuration for supporting a second type of accessory. The adapter can include a hub that is rotatable relative to the stroller frame or child product and can include a first connector and a second connector positioned at different locations relative to the hub. In examples, when the hub is rotated to a first position, the first connector can be in position to support the first type of accessory, and when the hub is rotated to the second position, the second connector can be in position to support the second type of accessory.
